My name is Sarah and I would like to welcome you to West Garth Cottage.
Welcome to West Garth Cottage, set in old Malton on the edge of the North Yorkshire Moors.
Just a 5 minute walk to the bustling market town of Malton and the neighbouring town of Norton. Packed with shops, restaurants, cafes, pubs and wine bars. Malton is also known for being the food capital of Yorkshire hosting an annual food market in the town centre.
Take the sceniic drive to Whitby, a delightful coastal town with links to Dracula and Captain cook. Enjoy the quaint harbour which is overlooked by the gothic remains of Whitby Abbey.
York is just 18 miles away, with its Roman roots and Viking history set within its ancient city walls. Here you can visit the famous "Shambles", The Jorvik viking centre and the railway museum. Or just take a walk along the river Ouse or even a boat trip.
Castle Howard is 7 miles away, one of Britains finest historic houses set in the stunning Howardian Hills.
For the kids, Flaming land theme park and zoo is just 8 miles away.
Eden Camp is 2 miles away. Here you can experience sights and sounds of life on the front line. Set in buildings and grounds of an original WW2 POW camp.
