They arranged pickup from the port which was a nice bonus. The area was not in the middle of the tourist section which was great. Short walk to restaurants and stores. The hotel arranged for a rental car company to drop off and pick up our vehicle at the hotel which was great. Free parking was available behind the hotel. Breakfast was included which was great. Although the room was a little small the huge balcony looking out over the ocean was a real treat. Very safe neighborhood.

The Cycladic-style Afrodete Hotel is located in Firostefani, a small hill at Santorini’s capital Fira. It features a hydro-massage tub and views of the Aegean Sea and the island of Anafi.

The property sits on a hill, with views of the sea (opposite of the Caldera, you can see JNX airport and Anafi island). It’s nice to just sit outside of the room and enjoy the serene view. Because the property is on a hill, you will have to walk up and down. It will be something to consider if you have mobility issues. But Fira and Oia are on top of the hill so you will have to do a lot of walking up and down no matter what. The hotel is about 10-15 minutes walk downhill to Fira main square. The Three Bells of Fira and Caldera view is about 8-10 minutes walk uphill from the property. It is a spectacular place to watch the sunset, and is not very crowded. Our room was spacious and very clean, all the appliances are in good condition and works as expected. It was very nice to have a large bottle of water cooling in the full size fridge and have croissants in their welcome basket. There are plenty of outlets to plug/charge devices. There is a well stocked market steps from the property, a car rental place and another market closer to Fira Town Square. There are a few restaurants steps from the property, and more along the way, when you walk to Fira Town Square. Elisa checked us in and was very helpful giving us tips on where to eat, what to see, etc. Angeliki, the manager, went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed, helped us with transfers to and from the hotel. Thank you Angeliki and Elisa, for making our stay wonderful!

Absolutely beautiful views of the Caldera! The rooms are big and everything was clean. The property is well maintained. Breakfast was great! Vassiliki was truly the best! She was helpful in so many ways and helped make our stay easy and unforgettable! The hotel is very close to food and mini markets as well as the Fira-Oia trail- a must! The number of stairs getting on and off the property was a little taxing at times but we would definitely go back! Perfect stay!

The private pool for each room was beautiful to look at and when it was cleaned it was nice. We only went in 1 time cuz it was cold.

Wonderful hotel and staff from the time we checked in until we checked out it was a fantastic experience. We traveled with our teen daughter's room was a great size, very clean, location was amazing perfect views!! Short 10 min walk to Fira with exceptional views along the way. Staff were always there to help with recommendations, car rental etc... Breakfast was excellent!! Breakfast staff were always there to greet with a smile! We researched a lot of hotels and this one definitely exceeded our expectations!!
