The people were great and very helpful, especially with teaching me how to make a call and helping with my ferry boo boo, that would have been a disaster for rest of vacation if they didn’t help. Would stay a little longer next time to explore the area. I originally chose it just to break up a long drive.

The hotel is charming and very comfortable. The staff is very helpful, friendly, and gracious. Unfortunately, during our stay there was loud road construction which detracted from an otherwise lovely location.

Very modern hotel. The staff is very friendly and efficient. The food in the restaurant was very good. It’s not a long walk to the city gate. The branch is excellent. Without extra charge, you can order à la carte.

The old town is beautiful with lots of small streets. The old town is perfect for wandering around. The floor surface is great to walk on & is clearly well maintained. The whole area is exceptionally clean & tidy. There is an abundance of restaurants, bars & cafes to suit everyone’s tastes. The prices are very reasonable for a city centre experience. The portion sizes are large so offer good value for money. The people were friendly & helpful. The old town felt incredibly safe to wander around in at any time of the day or night.

Zadar is amazing!
Zadar is amazing! If you like the outdoors, especially swimming and snorkeling it's well worth it to stay for a week or more and take day trips to places like Kornati National Park, Plitvice National Park, etc. And have time to just relax on the beach. Old town is nice as well with some very cool Roman Forum ruins. Croatia in general is expensive so keep that in mind! But well worth it for the clear waters and amazingly friendly people.

Zadar isn't the biggest city and we saw it all in one day.
Zadar isn't the biggest city and we saw it all in one day. It does make a great base to see other parts of Croatia however. We stayed for three days, spent one exploring the city, one island hopping and one at the Plitvice Lakes national park. In the evenings after our trips it was great to be in the beautiful old town to eat and enjoy some drinks at the quaint bars.
It is cheaper than most of Croatia and no less beautiful, I Would definitely recommend a visit, but no more than 3-4 days depending on how many day trips you would like to do.

Zadar is a lovely city, but the surrounding area is even more impressive. There are beautiful national parks, stunning islands just a short boat ride away, and the seafood is truly excellent – fresh, flavorful, and widely available. It’s a fantastic place for nature lovers and food enthusiasts alike.
That said, prices are definitely on the higher side, especially in restaurants and tourist areas – something to keep in mind when planning your trip.

Zadar is a really fun destination but after 5 days, you have seen almost everything, including a day at the national park. Without a car it is easy to enjoy the city center, bars and restaurants. A lot of beaches and beautiful weather, so for a short vacation to the sun, beach and drinks it is nice.

We had a truly lovely stay at this hotel. The building has a cosy and historical ambiance to it, and the rooms are very comfortable and modern. Having breakfast in the glasshouse restaurant was the icing on the cake, surrounded by a green garden.
The location is perfect - close to everything you may need but also in a quieter part of the old town (although we did visit during October, so at low season). Last but not least, the employees were wonderful providing helpful service. We’ll for sure stay here again if we come back to Zadar.
Lovely large modern room, beautiful decor, enormous bed with plenty of pillows. Lovely modern bathroom with great shower. Plenty of towels provided.Loved being in the Old town of Zadar, shops, cafes and bars round every corner. Not far to walk to harbour. Spoilt for choice with restaurants. So much to do, the weather was brilliant, glad we chose this part of Croatia, and glad we chose this apartment, great value for money.
Lovely property and grounds with pool, a little on the outskirts of Zadar we travelled in by bus, the room had the feel of a lodge, a separate lounge and bedroom area, even a view down to the beach from the bathroom through the bedroom. The food was very good although possibly because it was very early in the season choice was a little limited. The hotel is dog friendly but we weren’t disturbed by any barking.
The host was so welcoming and friendly. Really helpfull with explaining where things were in Zadar. Left a bottle of croatian wine for us to try, very generous! Very lovely interior and air con was amazing. outdoor area was super cute.Location amazing under 15 minute walk into the Old Town and so many beach close by!! would 100% stay here again.
