Our grandfather Ivan Lipanović Pinta went to Australia to work in order to obtain funds to build a house. After three years he returned to Lumbarda and upgraded new part to his father's house.
In 1928. he opens a pension called "Lumbarda" - which was owned by his father Ante Lipanović, our grandgrandfather. At that time Ante and family were able to accommodate 20 people.
All guests had full board: breakfast, lunch and dinner. The latest and our dearest cook was Kata Lipanović, our mother and grandmother. The menu was usually overflown with Dalmatian Traditional dishes like “pašticada”, “gulaš” and fresh fish. Twice a day water was brought to the rooms for washing and brushing teeth. Our grandfather was taking his guests on a boat ride around the little island just as we do now with our guests. :)
The oldest guest books were not preserved, but we can keep track of who is coming here on holidays since 1958.: mostly Germans, Austrians, Slovenians and local guests. In 1980`s we transferred our little pension to four Apartments and we are continuously trying to improve them every year. We hope to see you here with us! Pinta`s

Apartments Pinta are located in an old and quiet part of the village Lumbarda.
We offer four apartments. Two are for two per., one for four and one for five.
They all have kitchen, bathroom, rooms and terraces.
We have free wireless and a parking place.
You are very welcome to use a barbecue behind the house.
Apartments are 5 min. walking distance to sand beach "Bilin Žal" and 10 min. walking from sand beach "Pržina", 5 min. from the bus stop and 10. min from the center.
Note:
Apartments Pinta can accommodate thirteen people all together. Four apartments give guests their time of privacy but in other side it also makes it suitable for bigger family gatherings or maybe some kind of retreats (e.g. yoga retreats- especially because it`s big terrace).
All of the apartments are listed here, so please check them if you need to accommodate your big family or else.. ;)
Beautiful Korčula city is 7 km away. It is historic fortified town that is a must see. The town revered for possibly being the birth town of famous Venetian merchant, Marco Polo.

Quiet and easy going neighbourhood. Perfect for relaxing on a terrace, reading books, playing with your kids or just enjoy quiet evenings.
