Great staff, room was excellent to a beautiful terrace, breakfast was above average, loved the fresh crepes and pancakes made upon requests. They had a shuttle that took you down to the town so you can catch the ferry.

The view…the view the view. I had a corner room with double balconies and the view out both huge windows was spectacular. The host was also very sweet and made sure I had what I needed.
In a quiet location at the south end of the Amalfi coast, Lloyd's Baia Hotel has a panoramic cliff-top setting above its private beach. In Vietri Sul Mare, it is a 10-minute drive from Salerno harbor....

Love the location along the coast, the view from both the rooms and the shared terrace were amazing. Meals, both breakfast and dinner, were delicious. Chef was very kind and staff were exceptionally friendly and accommodating. The owner even gave us a ride into town for free! The tub was awesome and the bed was very comfortable.

We think Vietri is the best place to stay on the Amalfi coast. It is easy to reach (most other towns are a pain to drive to), and is a great place to explore from, with Pompeii only 25 mins drive and Herculaneum around 35 minutes, all motorway. The town itself is very authentic and prices are reasonable compared to the better known places. The boat service to other Amalfi towns is regular and easy to use without being too expensive (€25 return to Amalfi for 2 people) - we enjoyed the boat trips as much as the towns which were generally heaving with tourists, I’d hate to think what high season is like

A charming village full of character, famed for its beautiful pottery, we particularly enjoyed its charming little shops filled with colour and variety. The location was conveniently close to Molina, the small village where we stayed. On our first day, we dined at a local restaurant that was excellent, with a variety of fish and meat dishes at reasonable prices. I would recommend avoiding Naples on busy days, as it can be quite chaotic.

Theresa, Enzo and Antonia were wonderful!
Theresa, Enzo and Antonia were wonderful! They met us upon arrival and explained everything in English. Our rooms were very clean and modern with exquisite views of the sea and town. The breakfast room was excellent, clean, comfortable with plenty of snacks and bottled water and juices. The location was perfect, close to town and we were able to access ferry boats to the rest of the towns on the Amalfi Coast and Capri right from the Vietri sul Mare port a short walk away. Restaurants, shopping and bars are abundant in Vietri and the people are very friendly and most speak English if your Italian isn't great. Access from Rome was easy via Tren-Italia. We are looking forward to return!!!

Vietri is a small, but lovely town; less commercialised than Amalfi or Positano for instance. It also has the benefit of a train station, which we used to visit Pompeii.
Taxi's can be expensive, so this was a good way to travel at affordable prices. We used the ferry service a number of times to visit other Amalfi Coast destinations which was very good, albeit pretty crowded. This could be busier in June/July/August. We didn't hire a car, but would probably do this if we visited this area again.

Vietri sul Mare is a small village, since there is train station it is good as a base to explore Amalfi coast and Pompei. Not as busy as Amalfi itself or Positano. Old city is very small, but there is "Divine Vietri" pizzeria which serve the best pizzas in Amalfi coast, it opens at 19:00. Generally recommend it as a base for Amalfi coast, use ferry to move along or rent a scooter. Rental car will be a problem in Amalfi coast as parking is not existant.

Cute little town, incredible ceramics, not as swamped with tourists as Positano (at least in May). Shortage of restaurants or options if you’re gluten free / celiac but somewhat expected in Italy!

The apartment was perfect for my first visit to the Amalfi Coast, and Michelangelo is an exceptional host. The location is perfect within Vietri sul Mare, and VSM is also close to transportation options for visiting other towns along the coast. The apartment is very clean and has a stellar view from its balcony. Michelangelo reached out before I arrived and even picked me up in Salerno. He checked in daily to make sure I had everything I needed. If I ever return to VSM, I know where I will be staying!
The host was very nice and very responsive. He gave us many suggestions about staying at Vietri sul Mare and how to get around Amalfi coast. He also showed us how to cook the real italian coffee. The apartment was clean, in a great location. The kitchen and bathroom were well equiped.
Vietri is a hiden jam in the Amalfi coast, we really enjoyed this town, better than Amalfi or Positano. The hotel is very close to the beach, a litlle bit far from the historical center, but still a walking distance. Vietri beach is a sandy beach, unlike others from Amalfi Coast.
Everything was amazing. Right in the heart of Vietri sul Mare . A beautiful village ideal for base to travel around Amalfi cost. Mrs Assunta is there for anything you may need. super host, super location ,spacious, cozy with lovely breakfast.
