Beautiful resort by the sea. Beach is clean and water is crystal clear. Restaurant food is excellent.

We loved the overall vibe and the decorations of the hotel. Hotel nature was amazing. The pool area is great. The rooms are decent. Service is on point, they went out of their way to accommodate us. Breakfast had delicious food with a nice spread of choices, other meals in the restaurant were good as well.

Exceptional food and energetic staff

Excellent and thoughtful service from the hotel staff. I arrived very early, well before check-in time and they let me into the first room that was ready and didn't ask me to wait. Boutique hotel with a view of green mountains, very relaxing! I had a huge private balcony. Perfect!

Villa Vi was absolutely phenomenal. It started with a warm welcome of the host and her attention to detail to make sure our stay was as hospitable as possible. The hotel design is simply stunning, an architectural wonder. The room was sparkling clean, gorgeously designed, and the beds and linens were top quality and soo comfortable! I especially enjoyed the thoughtful little touches like the slippers. They clean the room daily upon request. The surrounding area was quiet, making it easy to sleep. The pool is also nice though we didn’t use it. Lastly, the breakfast buffet offered was delicious!

We always read reviews before we book. Villamarina42 had nothing but positive reviews. Was this too good to be true? Well, we are going to find out. This was our first visit to Sardinia. We were trying to find out how to get there. I sent a WhatsApp message, and they offered to pick us up at the airport. For a price. But we were good with the offer. Our flight was delayed, and we exchanged messages. When we arrived, it was the owner, Fabrizio. He greeted us like we were already friends. Once at Villamarina42, he offered us a coffee, and we chatted. Our room was exactly like the photographs and very, very clean, and comfortable. Every morning, we were served a delicious breakfast. The filled croissants were warm, and the ham and cheese, breads, and rolls were fresh and delicious. The fruits were really fresh. And the cappuccinos were perfect. Just a few hundred metres from the beach, Fabrizio had everything that we needed, chairs, umbrellas, and cold pack bags. Every time we returned, Fabrizio welcomed us back and offered us coffee. We knew nothing of the area, and he gave us recommendations for dinners. Again, perfect recommendations. One day, we planned a day trip to Cagliari, and he went and purchased us the proper bus tickets, which we reimbursed him for. The bus stop was nearby, and it was a no stress trip. Every time we met, it was like meeting an old friend. The outdoor area was private and great for lounging. I could go on and on, but this was a perfect one week vacation. It was hard to leave.
