Hotel Lafayette is on the beach outside Giovinazzo city centre. It has a swimming pool and its own private beach with playground. Bari Airport is a 15-minute drive away.

The host was very kind and accommodating! He is very sweet, even offered me an early check in for free. He also kept my luggage after my check out which allowed me to explore Bari a bit more and without any hassle!
The room I stayed in was clean and well kept!

We loved laying by the sea in the deck chairs. The surrounding trees and flowers around the hotel are beautiful. All staff were great and very helpful. The breakfast was exceptional as was our dinner in the restaurant.
Ibis Styles Bari Giovinazzo is 300 metres from the seaside in San Matteo, on the main road to Giovinazzo. This hotel offers an outdoor swimming pool with sun terrace, and parking is free.

Hard to pick one thing we liked the most but here are a few, the apartment, staying in the ancient historical part of the village, hearing the church bells ring, the many restaurants we tried (we stayed 4 weeks) and knowing that Natalina could be reached by WhatsApp for advice and suggestions.

It was less touristy and everybody was very friendly and helpful. There is no sandy beach but beach bars with seats and beds weather permitting. There are many restaurants and bars and a lovely central piazza with bars and restaurants all around it. From Bari airport it takes about 15 minutes and 30 euros in a taxi. There is a train station that goes to many places and a local bus. I will definitely be back. The old town is amazing lots of nooks and crannies with some shops and restaurants and bars. We were there for a week from the 13th September and at 1pm till around 4 it is very quiet with most places closed.

Giovinazzo is a small beautiful town on the Adriatic sea just north of Bari, with a rich history that shows in its old town made of stone. The area is great to explore with its tall narrow picturesque white stone homes, windows, doors, arches, and small streets. Not to mention the food is amazing and as authentic as you can get, with great pasta, seafood, and menus you can't find anywhere else. If you want to be with locals, this is a truly authentic experience and pleasure to explore this area. Highly Recommend.

Giovinazzo is a charming town, and its proximity to Bari is a big plus. It’s only a 20-minute train ride away, and the train station is conveniently located just a 10-15 minute walk from the accommodation. This made it very easy for us to explore other attractive cities in the region as well.

Wonderful small town, ancient buildings, beautiful clear sea. On weekdays there are few tourists; on weekends more people come to the beach. A stunning place for photographers and artists, beautiful views of the sea, cliffs, sunset and 14th-19th century architecture.
There are many different restaurants with local cuisine, seafood, and bars with sea views.

The centro storico is a must see in this town, it's just gorgeous! Be sure to visit in the evening as well, as it's even more beautiful lit up at night. There aren't really any beaches within walking distance, at least not sandy ones, but the lungomare (seaside walkway) is fabulous and affords some great views in both directions. The Neapolitan style pizza at Pizzeria Pitta La Pizza Col Sorriso is not to be missed, and we very much enjoyed two dinners at La Creperia Cinereo Lembo Cafè in the centro storico, at surprisingly affordable prices. Just a word of caution, the pizza place opens at 8:00 pm, not 7:00, and the Creperia at 7:30. Both opening times shown on Google are incorrect. The entire town is very walkable, and I recommend B&B Sant'Agostino for its central location (5 minute walk to train station, easy stroll to the main park, piazza, seaside and centro storico).

See reviews by guests who stayed at hotels in Giovinazzo
The apartment is located in the old city centre of Giovinazzo a very nice little town. It is a small room with a private bathroom at ground floor, it looks like a warehouse or a commercial shop transformed in a room, but it is comfortable and has everything needed. The self check-in and check-out procedure is very convenient with information sent on WhatsApp and keys picked up from a key box.
The hotel is located in a quiet location but at the same time in the historical center and right by the sea. The hotel building is very interesting and there is also a restaurant on the ground floor in beautiful spaces. The breakfast was great.
