I like the room with balcony.
I like the old guy in the front desk with blue suit, he is very very polite and caring. He is professional. He seems like a leader.
When I check in, there is an old lady help me to get my luggage from my car and put in my room. She is very patient and friendly.
I like the lady in the restaurant, she members what I like.

I've visited Pavia a few times. In a recent visit, I went to the Museo Kosmos, the Natural History Museum. Founded in the 1700's it's one of the world's oldest museums dedicated to natural history, but with a modern vibe - apparently over 500 exhibits (I didn't count them!), multimedia games, videos, interactive activities for children. An excellent place of learning.

Pavia has a modern centre and the older part has some lovely buildings. Certosa di Pavia, an old monastery, is 9 minutes by train (don't forget to validate your ticket in the machine next to the platform entrance). Do check the opening times, though. Pavia would also be convenient for visiting other cities in the area

Four nights here.
Four nights here.
Lovely old city generally ignored by tourists ( and Italians)
Very old University. Some wonderful churches and museums - Civic in Castle is exceptional.
Small centre so easy to get around and quite a bit is "pedestrianised".
Bus 93 to Certosa di Pavia is easy.

The Certosa di Pavia is breathtaking, but the old centre of Pavia is also really charming, with lots of bustle, pedestrian streets, restaurants and a studenty vibe. We would have loved more time to explore.

Pavia is very nice city, with a lot of students and low quantity of tourists. Has quite many places to visit, although nice pathway near the river, Pavia needs to be descovered by feet. As well Milan is reachable easily less than 30 min by train. City has many nice restaurants where local eat every day, you can get lunch deal for 12-15€ per person ant that's include first, second plate glass of wine usually even a dessert. Want to feel more like local take aperitivo in Piazza della Vittoria where coctail will cost like 7-8€ and full plate of snacks included.

A pleasant untouristy city with some lovely old streets and cathedral in the centre. The Certosa, a few miles north, is breathtaking and more stunning than many cathedrals - which is saying something in Italy!
We also used Pavia as a quieter location from which to visit Milan. Frequent trains go there and they are very cheap.

The hotel is new and our room was large and very well furnished. The receptionist of the hotel was very nice and told us many details about the town. He also had very nice tips about where to go for dinner. Therefore, we really enjoyed our stay in Pavia
Very nice room, location was perfect to reach most of the places in Pavia center, very good breakfast and the staff was very kind to check me in earlier . It was nice to have the entire apartment available. I wish I could have stayed longer.
The hotel is located on top of the city with a fantastic view over city, harbour and sea. We were welcome and served very friendly and can only recommend this location. However, we recommend coming by car since it is quite a steep climb.
The apartment was very clean, spacious, comfortable and close to the city centre, enough to fit 5 or even 6 people. I was happy to find such an amazing apartment for my family trip to Pavia. Highly recommended!
