This resort is a hidden gem. The location is absolutely breathtaking, and our room was beautifully appointed with direct access to a massive deck right on the sea—it felt like our own private slice of paradise. The staff were incredibly warm and welcoming, making the experience even more special. With only three rooms on the property, it’s the perfect escape for anyone who prefers peace, privacy, and a crowd-free getaway. We can’t wait to come back!

    Welcoming little town with a charming medieval village, bubbly squares and stunning view points from the cliffs to the great blue sea below. Water is clear, you can see fish from outside the water! great temperature for swimming, even in May. Easy to walk around to the historical centre and to the Ermit island, on the paved pathway. Great food, amazing coffee and stunning ice-creams! Plus… it’s the land of Domenico, so it’s impossible not to sing Volare oh oh oh along as you go. Poetry can be found in nearly every little corner on the medieval town… truly relaxing and inspiring place. Also easy access by train from Bari and by car to Alberobello and Castellana Grotte!

    Polignano a mare Is beautiful, with great restaurants and amazing views. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and got to know the local restauranteurs and the sights If you like scenic views this place is amazing. If you want a pool or sandy beaches this isn't the place, you'd need to stay further away.

    Interesting place with great 'old town' full of character.

    Interesting place with great 'old town' full of character. Bars, restaurants and cafes were great and very reasonable. The town is accessible by a very good and cheap railway. Regular services from the airport and from Bari all the way along the coast to fascinating historic towns, such as Alberobello, Monopoli and Lecce.

    -Charming Place to visit- with side trip for us to Monopoli by rail -Rail to Bari is also easy by rail -Drive or Private transport to Alberobella and Matera -For those who like to shop- great opportunities -Great choice of restaurants -Boat Cruise into Caves was a highlight!

    No words can describe, you have to explore on your own :-) Perfect connection from Bari and just 5 minutes by train to Monopoli. Italian cuisine is just perfect and it is hard to go wrong in any place there. Those views are just stunning.

    This town is delightful.

    This town is delightful. The town overlooks the Adriatic and there is a walking path that wraps around the entire city. There are many restaurants and stores within walking distance of the historical center and the new part of town. The town is truly wonderful and a great place to stay while visiting other towns in Puglia. Great central location and the perfect size town from which you can visit other towns in Puglia including Alberobello. Monopoli. Locorotondo and Cisternino. Better go soon before word gets out how great this location is.

    The accomodation was modern, sophisticated, clean, well-equipped with AC and TV in each room and really close to the Center of Polignano a Mare. The Manager was very nice and helpful, she recommended places to visit and restaurants to try tradicional Puglian dishes, as it was our first time in Italy. We spent 4 night here, I highly recommend it for couples seeking for a little relaxation in a romantic town, but even a party of 4 would have fit in comfortably. Last but not least, it was excellent value for money.

    Hotel CasaMara in Polignano a Mare is a wonderful place to stay. The staff was incredibly accommodating and helpful, creating a pleasant atmosphere. The rooms were beautifully decorated and comfortable, and the breathtaking view from the windows was a delight. The location was ideal with easy access to the city's attractions and beaches. An unforgettable stay at Hotel CasaMara!

    I was welcomed by Sara, the lovely property manager. She ensured that my early check-in (11 am) request was met. The property (dated back to 16th century) is absolutely stunning. This luxury boutique hotel is centrally located. The room is spacious and beautifully designed. The bathroom is equipped with all the right amenities (even a bidet). I’d definitely stay here again.

    Lovely location and room in a beautiful part of Italy. The owner also let us leave our bags at the hotel during the day while we waited for a train which was so helpful. Couldn't recommend more highly.
