My favorite place was the library and some countryside. There are lots of places to have your meal. The best way to get around Lampedusa is to rent on a bike. Many people think about Lampedusa as the immigration island...
Many people think about Lampedusa as the immigration island but is definitely more than that. I have never seen such blue water and beautiful beaches. The island is very safe and people are friendly. Location is fantastic, by the beautiful beach with 3 restaurants (best sea food)/bars and close to port (boat tours), car rental and town center. Caterina was great host and preparing us nice family breakfast every morning and giving good vacation tips. Rooms are new and very clean, cleaning and towels are being changed every day.
