Personally, I would have preferred one to two days in Ragusa and then a day in Noto and a day in Modica. In Upper Ragusa, do not miss the Chiesa Ecce Homo! The blue interior is gorgeous, and the priest kindly invited us to view the church from the choir loft. In Ragusa Ibla, the Circolo di Conversazione tour, which also includes a second palazzo and a visit to the workshop of Cinabro Carrettieri, is, at 15 euro, a steal. If you are interested in Italian history and traditional craftsmanship, it is unbeatable. Guides were excellent, fluent in both English and Italian.Guest review byJohnUnited States - 8.0

We were in Ragusa Ibla, the lower, historic part of the town, not the main Ragusa which we did not visit. We had only one afternoon and night there - a full day would have been better. Ragusa old town is a sight to behold, it is beautiful as any I've seen. If you like climbing up and down steps this place is perfect for you. At the top of the hill, apart from the spectacular duomo, there is an amazing peaceful park in which you wander or sit for a long time if you wish. A must do is to visit the cafe 248, you sit on the steps and have a delicious aperitivo and vino, whilst overlooking the old town, a wonderful experience.Guest review byMikeNew Zealand
