Very nice room and facilities. The hotel is a luxury one, not basic. It is around 500 meters away from the railway station with plenty of shops and restuarants. The hotel itself is located in a quite and peaceful area with good surroundings. The staff was very helpful.

Easy check in and check out. Multiple access cards per room. Bathroom not too small. And of course the free smoothies every morning!
The location was the best part. Just 5 min walk to the station and 9 min subway ride to the airport. Very convenient and ideal. It's just outside of the red light district thank god and there's a shopping arcade 2 mins away.

The value was good for the price, and the room was much more spacious than your average Japanese hotel, akin to rooms found in Europe and North America. It was within walking distance to the subways, yatais, and many of the downtown attractions in Fukuoka.

Fukuoka is a great location to explore and a place to explore Kyushu from and other areas like Hiroshima as there are good shinkansen routes to Kagoshima, Mount Aso, Beppu and further. And lots of food choices. If you like ramen, there's a whole floor dedicated to it above the station.

Fukuoka is a compact city for sightseeing, dining, cafe hopping, shopping and leisure. Most places for a tourist are within a short walk and the airport is incredibly nearby to Hakata. Prices are reasonable for most things except the higher room rates (been to Kyoto, Osaka and Nagoya during the last 2 years). The people are polite and friendly. I will be returning again to explore the city more.

We've been to the Tokyo area many times and this trip to Fukuoka was our first. I like the this city as it is easier to get around and not a busy and crowded as Tokyo. Very relaxing and enjoyable. There are many more places we like to visit and plan to go back again.

Fukuoka is a fun city without the crowds of Tokyo, Kyoto & Osaka. The train system is much easier to navigate due to fewer train lines. There's still lots of shopping to be had in this smaller city. It's easy to venture out to areas in Kyushu such as Beppu, Yufuin, Kumamoto, Nagasaki and many more.

Much to experience at the ever-busy Hakata station.
Much to experience at the ever-busy Hakata station. It is a convenient base to get around Kyushu. Three major department stores and shops at the Hakata station close around 8pm. There is plenty of F&B at levels 9 and 10 and at the basement as well. At 20-minute intervals, local bus 306 leaves bus bay no.6 of Hakata Bus Terminal (next to station) goes to 123-m tall Fukuoka Tower and the nearby Momochi Seaside Park (beach). One-way fare at ¥260 per adult for the 25-min ride. Best to visit the beach late afternoon. It was breezy when we were there. Try the F&B shacks at the beach. Use the boardwalk if you do not wish to have sand on your toes.

Fukuoka is a lovely city—very well-regulated, in the true Japanese style. It’s clean, efficient, and just has a great vibe overall. The subway system is easy to navigate, and the public bus system is reliable. I didn’t stay long—just a day and a night—but I can tell it’s a wonderful place to visit.

Excellent location, right beside the main Hakata railway and some of the main routes around Fukuoka
Rooms were quite comfy, nice desk and extra massage seat was very relaxing at the end of long days
Rainfall shower and bathroom overall was clean and looked new
Breakfasts were some of the best on the trip, a lot of choices of food from Japanese to Western and other Asian, and varied each day on many items
Hotel layout was very nice, lobby was well run and all staff were polite and efficient
Subway exit (3) right at the hotel entrance, so it’s convenient to travel to other parts of Fukuoka. Exit 6 with lift across the street when with luggages. Convenience stores nearby. Walking distance to Tenjin shopping center and several tourist attractions. Clean and comfortable room. Bathroom is decent in terms of cleanliness and space. Breakfast is pretty nice and provides Japanese and Western cuisines.
location is the best part of this hotel - extremely near hakata station and easy to navigate to other popular destinations. neighbourhood is quiet, the free hotel breakfast at the restaurant on the first floor was good too. minor issue with the room being on the small side but that's not unexpected for japan
I like the room because it is clean and comfortable. Nice location for commuting to Hakata and Tenjin station including Fukuoka International Airport Also there are many convenience stores situated not far from the hotel. I can cook sometime.
