This was our second time staying at this hotel, and we’ve always been satisfied with the service. The staff spoke good English and were very helpful during check-in. The location is also great, close to many restaurants, convenience stores (konbini), and the train station, which made it easy to get around.

The breakfast buffet . The front desk staff were so helpful specifically the young lady who helped us book the Yamato luggage carrier. She helped us with informative information and was very sweet . I did not get her name but she was a tall young lady with glasses and me and my husband greatly appreciated her help!

FAQs about hotels in Tokyo

See It to Believe It!

The capital of Japan, Tokyo is a vast, teeming metropolis nestled between mountains and Tokyo Bay. It’s so huge that you’ll have to come to grips with public transport and maybe even experience being pushed onto a train. Yes, it does actually happen!

Get your bearings by ascending the Tokyo World Trade Center near the waterfront, and savor the fantastic views taking in the red-and-white Tokyo Tower and Shinkuju’s skyscrapers. North is Ueno, home to the best museums (including the Tokyo National Museum) and a large park bursting with cherry blossom in spring.

Equally tranquil are the Chiyoda Imperial Palace and Gardens, surrounded by water. Also in gardens is the Meiji Jingu Shinto shrine in Shibuya, a youthful district where neon abounds.

For more traditional Japanese culture, head to Asakusa whose Sensō-ji Buddhist temple is Tokyo’s oldest temple. Outdoor markets sell a variety of wares, though shopping in Tokyo is, of course, fantastic wherever you go.

Whether you stay in a Japanese ryokan, luxury Tokyo hotel or a hostel, don’t fly out of Tokyo Narita Airport or Haneda Airport without having tried sushi. Another Japanese institution is the sento (public bath) and onsen (hot springs bath) – a must try. Also incredibly popular are Tokyo Disneyland and Tokyo DisneySea, Asia’s 2 most visited theme parks.

Tokyo Station is like a small city itself.

Tokyo Station is like a small city itself. Easy to go anywhere from ther. Took train from Narita and Jrbus returning to home to YVR. Excellent bus servicehighly recommended.Ginza shopping is mind boggling , a shopper's paradise. Went to see wisteria and garden at Tochigi, May 13 .too late as the blooms are on the last stages. Should have been their on the last week of april. Shijuku Market is huge and can easily get you lost inside as the visitors are too many, competing for the same attraction to see and eat. but that is the attraction. lol. Oh by the way, the ginza strip was blocked off from Gina 1 -Ginza-9 so visitors can crisscross the street from one side to the other. They even put tables chairs and umbrellas for for you to ues in the middle of the 6 lane steet, Good Marketing Strategy by the city of tokyo. Enjoy your visit and keep an open mind and relish every moment of your Visit. the Japanese attributes are coutesy and helpfullness that we experienced on this trip. Timing is everything. Tokyo is a wonderful city with so much to see. We were only able to hit the high points in the 5 days we were there. Fantastic sights, shopping and food. But very crowded. We used the rail system to get around. It was generally very easy to navigate and get to your destination. Sky Tree was great as was a baseball game at the Tokyo Dome.

Japan is an incredible destination with a rich blend of tradition and modernity, offering everything from ancient temples to cutting-edge technology. However, with the current surge in tourism, popular spots can feel overwhelming, making it harder to fully appreciate the country's beauty and culture. For those who prefer a more relaxed experience, it might be worth waiting until the hype settles down. Alternatively, exploring lesser-known regions beyond the usual hotspots.

Tokyo has truly stolen a piece of my heart.

Tokyo has truly stolen a piece of my heart. I’ve been fortunate to visit three times, and each experience has been nothing short of amazing. The city is a perfect blend of tradition and innovation, with a culture that’s rich, respectful, and deeply inspiring. From the hospitality of the people to the vibrant food scene and impeccable attention to detail in every corner, Tokyo continues to captivate me. I’m endlessly drawn to its energy, beauty, and grace—Japan is a place I will always return to with love and admiration.

Rooms were large for Tokyo hotels and had a bathtub (we stayed in the South Wing), and housekeeping was good. It has two lines next to it including the less crowded Tochomae station on the Oedo line. Better than Shinjuku. There’s a decent Komeda’s cafe opposite the back entrance where we ate at twice and more eateries are about 5 minutes’ walk away. We liked that the limo bus stopped right at the hotel and that tour agencies picked up guests at the hotel too.

The property is extremely well maintained. The staff are helpful and polite. The room is clean and the amenities provided are of good quality. The hotel is very conveniently located within walking distance of the train station. It is also a 20-30 minute drive from Haneda airport which is also connected by the monorail. 3 stops from Tokyo station and the train that passes via Hamamatsucho goes to the popular tourist locations of Shibuya and Shinjuku.
