Located in Watamu, on the South East coast of Kenya, Ocean Sports Resort offers views of the Indian Ocean. This beachfront resort features an outdoor swimming pool, restaurant and bar.

The Compound area is green and beautiful, well designed and a view over the ocean more or less from everywhere. Wonderful restaurant/lounge area with chill atmosphere and wonderful view of the ocean both from inside and outside. The food was delicious. A bigger pool and a smaller more private one. Both very clean and the pool areas were well taken care of. Staff were friendly and happy to help. Long beautiful beach. I was there at low season so the winds were stronger, less visibility in the water and more seaweed than during high season. The water and beach were still enjoyable and the beauty of being there off season is less people in general. I did some kite surfing not far away.

The stylish setting and beautiful decor created a relaxing atmosphere, and I absolutely loved the pool area. The food at the restaurant was amazing—each meal was a culinary treat!

Facing the beachfront, Life Resort St. Thomas Royal Palm offers 5-star accommodation in Watamu and has an outdoor swimming pool, garden and private beach area.

Location is very good, although not easy access, but tuktuk bike drive experience was absolutely great, they call it African Massage because of the bumpy road….😅 The staff were very kind and helpful.

Offering an outdoor pool and a private beach area, Alawi Home is situated in the Watamu Beach district in Watamu, 9.1 km from Bio-Ken Snake Farm. Guests can enjoy the on-site restaurant.

The location was beautiful, with direct beach access, beautifully furnished. The host Gabriella & staff warmly welcomed us, made us feel instantly at home and were attentive. The food was good as well and I believe due to our timing, we had the entire place to ourselves.

Staff are attentive and very friendly . Fabulous pool and relaxation areas and wonderful garden . Beautiful view of the sea.

    The people are quite friendly including cab divers. The beaches are wonderful. Not too much interference from the beach boys. The area is relatively quiet in the evenings. Good for a person who has relaxation in mind. My favourite beach was Gecko resort. It is easy to get around Watamu with Tuk Tuk or cabs.

    A bit expensive as it's made for tourists, so expect European prices (5EUR one beer or 8EUR a cocktail). The beach is amazing, it's totally worth it :) However, try to be in a beach chair, as those are in private restaurants or hotels; that's the only way the beach boys are not going to annoy you all the time (and even there, they might try to talk to you or stare at you, but it's less likely). There's a club (Come back club) that we loved, as the atmosphere and music were great :)

    Generally Watamu is a delightful place for a holiday. It was great to have a hot weather Christmas holiday. Mostly we ate at home because we had hired a private chef, but when we did eat out we found the local restaurant excellent. The pizzas at Mapango were some of the best I have ever had.

    This was a treat stay and exceeded my expectation. Huge beds, air con and ceiling fans, enormous bathroom and a view of the ocean from the room. Staff always keen to ask how they can help. Breakfast had such a wide selection of food and unhurried time to enjoy it whilst looking out to the ocean. I highly recommend Hemmingways.

    Watamu has a charm to it. Very relaxed but amazing places to discover The beach is beautiful! Catching sunsets is not a problem. so many places to catch some of the most glorious sunsets you will ever see. Within the town centre is a small eatery called The Place! Great chef & delicious meals.

    Fantastic second beach pool that overlooks the ocean and has blissful views of Garoda beach The entire Staffs I interacted with are fantastic people, highly recommend this place Loved the air-conditioned rooms, a choice of gorgeous swimming pools and a decent on-site restaurant Beach view sunbeds – day beds overlooking a Watamu beach. One of the best spots in town for lazing on Garoda.

    Very nice and spacious guesthouse with a pool and 5 min walk from love island beach, as well as the main road of restaurants and shops. Staff were friendly and helpful, and Fausto was happy to help us with a taxi to malindi and excursion planning. Great place to stay for our visit to Watamu.
