The host is an awesome guy—super chill, really interesting, and full of great stories. You could talk to him for hours! The garden is just as amazing—peaceful, well-kept, and you can tell he puts a lot of care into every little detail. I’d totally recommend this place! Plus, it’s not far from the beach and some really good surf spots—great waves, no crazy crowds.

When booking, I saw the beach in the video, so I thought it was next to the beach, but it wasn’t . However the property was convenient. First night we stayed in the room, where the AC was making some noise, so on the second night we changed to another room which was better. The property should have checked the small detail. The property isn’t that big, however convenience and well managed.

We loved the location, it’s located directly at the beach and is a little calmer than Weligama Beach itself. The breakfast was a la carte and you have a choice of 5 options to pick from.

The breakfast was amazing, plus there was this great curry buffet down the street! Location was good, but did require walking across the busy street to get to the beach. Room was large and they provided plenty of drinking water. There was also a laundry service next door we used.
