We have built a magical and private desert camp and bivouac in the middle of the Erg Chebbi dunes. Here you will find tranquillity, clear skies, bright stars, beautiful sunrises, intense colors, high dunes and magical experiences. Our private camp, situated in a quiet location and surrounded by dunes, can accommodate up to 40 guests in comfortable tents, but usually we host between 10 and 20 guests per evening. We have 5 sleeping tents, a kitchen, dining/restaurant tent, and a modern WC area with 2 showers & 2 western toilets and hot running water! At the camp it is possible to climb the dunes to watch the sunrise and sunset, watch for shooting stars in the clear night sky, and to do sandboarding from the high dunes.
Me (Zaid) and my 4 brothers Mubarak, Hassan, Ali, and Said built a small auberge (hotel) in the and a desert bivouac camp in 2003, and our family has been in the area for many generations. We are proud to share our facilities with you and to show you the way of life in Merzouga
Le Petit Prince is located 600 meters from the center of Merzouga village, 40 minutes from Rissani. The camp is a 90 minute camel ride from the edge of the dunes 30 Minut by Jeep 4x4 Trip. Enjoy your special night under the stars at this beautiful oasis in a tent camp. On this journey you will experience a camel ride at sunset and sunrise from the top of the dunes. Your desert experience includes an authentic Moroccan dinner under the stars and breakfast in the morning.
