Staff was amazing, they were able to organize tours and transfers. Food is decent. The rooms are clean and good size. Most of the island is walkable, Guest beach is fairly close and great place to see the sunset and swim. Recommend doing the manta ray tour.

Staff was very welcoming and took care of everything. Food was so delicious that it actually made me revise my previous prejudices against Asian/Indian food. Chicken curry here has nothing in common with the turmeric sadness you get in the West. Actually all the dishes from the curry list are fantastic. There is also a breakfast option with tuna salad and Indian bread that is the best. The snorkeling experience included in the price was very exciting. The hotel is located in the middle of a community, which helps you get a glimpse into the real life of people living on this island. There is also a kind of private beach at 10 minutes walking from the hotel. I believe you cannot get more value for money in the Maldives.

The whole Koimala Hotel team were very helpful and warm. From Rifath, Prem, Kanchan and special mention to Ripon who has been in every highlight of our stay keeping us safe while swimming with the whale sharks and the manta rays. It was a wonderful experience. A wholehearted appreciation to everyone. Thanks to Subae as well, the captain of our speedboat. Looking forward to coming back.

The hotel is located on a local island. So it does not correspond to the typical travel magazine images that one knows from the Maldives. Nevertheless, we liked it very much, because you didn't just see a resort, but more. The journey to the resort was by boat and - due to the onset of darkness - adventurous. After leaving Malé, we had to change to another boat. We would have liked to know that beforehand. The room was very spacious, the bathroom like new. We had a Jacuzzi in front of the room just for us. On the first day, we were even driven to the beach area. Here you could already see the typical blue water. The hotel also organised a trip to the neighbouring island and seems to offer many diving trips as well. The breakfast was plentiful. The choice for dinner was good, unfortunately there was no fish the first two evenings, but all other dishes were available and tasty. We would come again.
