This luxury beachfront resort, in Barra de Navidad, features a golf course, gym, spa and 2 outdoor pools, one located on the 10th floor. There are tennis courts and on-site water sports facilities.

Applaud the mindful approach to reduce environmental impact, and the friendly staff. Breakfast buffet was plentiful and delectable, showcasing the abundant produce of the region. Off the menu, wonderful selections too; great value. Enjoyed the pool, kayak, snorkel boat tour, yoga and pool aerobics, spa, strolling thru the marina.

Location right on beach, Studio room almost 500 sq feet with huge refrigerator. You could hear and some times feel waves on beach below balcony.. Staff friendly and special thanks to Pedo (night shift) who found and secured my laptop left on patio.

    Such a great little town.

Such a great little town. We came in the off season so it wasn't too crowded. There are many bars and restaurants that have their own style and personality. The sunsets were amazing and the people were very friendly. It's easy to get around town but I would recommend renting a golf cart or car because of the humidity. We never had a bad meal there, even the pizza from the street vendor was tasty.

Barra is a small, friendly and safe beachfront town with many great eating and drinking establishments. You can walk to anywhere in town in under five minutes. Lots of music everywhere. There is a large marina and a nice little surfing spot at the south end of town. My wife and felt like some of the younger tourists and we are in our early 50's. Some of the spots we enjoyed The Malecon at the south end of town. The pastries at El Horno Francès French bakery Beachfront sunsets and Margheritas @ Nachos Paty restaurant for breakfast La Bruja for good coffees Señor froys for dinner. The town square pop up market on Thursdays. This is a great town to relax enjoy the ocean, drinks and people. We walked to Melaque on the beach which took about 45 min to an hour, do this early, it's hot out there. All the birds too!

It is a quiet little town with a great bay on the ocean. There are several nice restaurants and shops to choose from with a varied nightlife with music. It is a sleepy little place that we enjoyed for an evening and wouldn’t want to be there longer than a couple of nights. Some of the restaurants were quite expensive as were the shops. The town is going through a lot of construction due to impacts from the hurricane. Access to the beach was not easy as the stairs were damaged and dangerous. Various hotels have access to the beach and happily allowed us to use it.

My 5th stay in Barra and love it.

My 5th stay in Barra and love it. Great choice of restaurants and street vendors with amazing food - really happy that the couple who make and sell churros on the street each night are still there. Community feels very safe and is very friendly. Melaque is a short bus ride away and Freddi's at the junction for shrimp is a must. Barra is a 1/2 hour cab ride from the Manzanillo airport. Tourist population is mostly Mexican and Canadian.

View of the ocean from our balcony was stunning. Birds, whales and even dolphins on occasion. 2 elevators, wheel chair ramp, full size appliances in the kitchen area of our 'studio'room. Location close to restaurants, live music at the hotel twice a week Pub food at hotel was also good including fresh Caesar salad. etc

The location of this hotel is perfect. Ocean view balconies are great. The rooms are simple but very clean, ours had a fridge with freezer, which we appreciated and used daily. We were given fresh towels each day during our stay. We used the pool daily. Half of our stay, the pool was heated.
