NOT AS DESCRIBED ON THE WEBSITE, EXACT OPPOSITE, DIRTY, OLD, STINKY!
Liked · Unfortunately NOTHING AT ALL!
The only good thing was the receptionist had spoken English & tried to guide me to the property.
Disliked · I paid for the room online over the Booking.com. The pictures of the property on the website were neat & looked tidy!
But as i have arrived it was exact the opposite!
The receptionist had to guide me to the property on the phone as at the time major renovation was in progress & scaffolding were placed in front of the property, which made it difficult to locate.
The area where the hotel is based, looked rough, the carpets in the lobby were stinky & to finish the experience off, my room has been already sold to someone else, even though I have paid for it online!
I got a cash refund & went out upset, as i driven for 3 days & was desperate to rest & now I was left to look for a room to sleep, last minute prices & availability in a city late night are a challenge for a tired traveller!
Very Disappointing!

Be aware the neighborhood hood is full of racist people I came from London to see denhaag the neighbors called the police 6 times on me 2 times for taking pictures and some random things I would not even know why the police came very rude people and police. You have to pay €10 to park on the main road outside the hotel and the city is 40 min walk minimum not what they have stated on booking.com. The room was very small with no view.
Staff were friendly but would not recommend this hole unless you won to suffer.
51 Geestbrugweg.
The hotel is located in the historic old park (Hoevevoorde estate) to walk or jog in the mornings, has tennis courts and brasserie/restaurant, and few conference rooms - good value. It is rather basic, but clean and has prompt room service. The breakfast bar is serving continental breakfast for 15 euros - pretty standard. The staff was friendly.
There is a "bunker museum" in the park (apparently closed) - the bunkers were used as command point during WW2.
Queen size double bed, wonderfully comfortable. The room has floor-level safety lights that are activated by movement, which is comfortable to get up in the dark without fear of accident or having to disturb other people. The room has a microwave and water heater, making it easy to prepare a coffee or a drink. The hotel is less than 150 metres from the train station and bus stop, making it convenient for travel to Delf, The Hague, Rotterdam, or Amsterdam.
The check-in was smooth. The staff were helpful whenever I had a question or asked for assistance. The room was quite spacious. I paid just under 200 Euros for a three-night stay for two people. This was a better price per person per night than hostels in Den Haag or Rotterdam. It is very easy to get to Den Haag or Delft by train from Rijswijk. The hot water supply was good and the water pressure was good. The beds were comfortable enough.
A gregarious welcome - fascinating historical house with interesting original features.
We appreciated the fact that private parking was available.
A no frills functional room - spacious and with access to a balcony. Location good for our visit to Huygens' Rijswijk.
Best feature: small but good shower.
A good choice of local restaurants within walking distance.
Semi-secure free parking on-site. Restaurant on-site. Bright room with nice view over grassy gracht even though mostly a business zone. Cheerful and friendly staff. Proximity of excellent No 17 tram line right into Den Haag and to the museum we were going to. Breakfast on site though at extra cost - not cheap but welcome! Quiet in room - comfortable bed.
It is a pretty cute and cool location with a small nearby shopping street incl. grocery store, pubs, and a couple restaurants. The apartment was very nice with natural light, full kitchen, plants, and lots of space. Felt more like being home than a hotel or B&B. Staff was very friendly and how to say : it was overall very private (no one really there).
A hotel worth recommending. Rooms spacious, equipped with everything you need in a hotel. Even the kettle and coffee were there. Clean. Daily cleaning service which is a plus. Very good location and lockable own parking. At breakfast very friendly service and good products. Great coffee and good scrambled eggs.
Spacious rooms and the center can be easily reached by train or tram. Good shower and good value for money. Some people complained in previous reviews that Ukranian refugees are hosted within the hotel, which is true, but this didn't bother or disturb us at al!
The hotel is really nice, situated in the middle of a park. Hotel has a big cosy patio with a nice restaurant. Beds are very comfortable. Stuff is very nice and helpfull.
Breakfast costs 9.5euro, but I didn't use this option, so no opinin about it.
The staff was friendly and responded to all of our questions and needs. Breakfast was yummy and fresh, lovely with the omelette station. Our baby even got a gift from the staff, so so lovely of them! Room cleaned every day. Thank you!!
The interior of the hotel is really special, brings a unique vibe. Parking in the neighbourhood is available and you can arrange the parking payment at the reception. Staff extremely friendly and helpful. Very clean and big room.
Extremally nice and very helpull hotel stuff. Very spacious rooms with interesting design. Awesome restaurant/chilling space.
Perfect place for short and longer stay.
Next time visiting Haag we will book this place for sure :)
