CASA DA AZARUJINHA sits on the ground floor of a 4 storey building, with an independent entrance through the back of the building. It has been equipped so you can feel at home, on short or long stays, with family or friends. The decoration is cool and elegant, but very relaxed. The living room is spacious and comfortable, blending smoothly with a modern and functional kitchen. A couch for 4 and a large dinner table will allow reading, watching TV, enjoying a good conversation, a casual breakfast or a full course dinner. The master bedroom is wide, with a double bed, a generous wardrobe, and a cozy and luminous reading corner by the window. The second bedroom comprehends 2 single beds, a wardrobe and a large window. The bathroom is lively and airy. All around the house, fun decoration details for you to discover! Last but not least, you’ll find the train station just 2 minutes away from our door. It couldn’t be easier to get to Lisbon city center or to Cascais!
We are Cristiana and Miguel. We love travelling and we are passionate about Lisbon. CASA DA AZARUJINHA got its name from the Praia da Azarujinha (Azarujinha Beach), just 400m away. Tucked away in a corner, Praia da Azarujinha Beach is surrounded by cliffs and rich buildings, with rocks forming a natural amphitheatre over the bathing area. But you can also take a walk on the coastal promenade to Cascais, and you will find other beaches, like Praia da Poça, Praia do Tamariz, Praia da Conceição or Praia da Rainha. São João do Estoril is a small and friendly village facing the Atlantic, close to glamorous Estoril, the premier resort town of the Lisbon coastline. Famous for its beaches with medicinal properties, its glorious seaside landscapes and its pleasant weather all year round, São João do Estoril was a weekend retreat for the wealthy 19th century Lisbon bourgeoisie, seeking to evade the capital’s hectic life. The surrounding neighborhood is quiet and familiar, with several retail options, ranging from groceries and coffee shops to laundry and banking.
