I had a great stay at Hotel Carol – the room was elegant, spacious, very comfortable and very clean. The staff were kind and professional, and the location is perfect, close to the bus station, beach, old town, restaurants.
I really enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere and the fresh, tasty breakfast. Highly recommend for a relaxing stay in Constanța!

The staff, location and the internet were great. Even breakfast was included. There is a full size mirror in the room, many cabinets, a fridge and balcony from which the lake and the see can be seen. There is also a parking right at the hotel for the hotel guests. The room was spacioue, clean, bright and quite. The shower had different modes. Excelent value for money

Generally speaking, it wasn't good. Room service is poor. Don't wait that someone will clean your room. Even toilet paper is issue, they are simply ignored that it is empty roll over there. However, staff on reception is alright. All other things disaster, room was initially dirty. Also would like to mention that there were no pressure in the shower tap. Maybe it is due to off season period.

The room was quite large, very clean, bed was comfortable, A/C worked great, walk-in shower, perfect for a weekend at the sea, although a bit far from the beach, if you don't mind a 10 min walk it's great.

Such a beautiful coastal city. The beaches are wonderful and the sea is clean.
There’s fresh air all around the city, even in the more polluted areas.
We had amazing food from the San Marco pizzeria 🍕 and Q’s Inn cooked food 🥘. Great cakes from Aroma.

Constanta is a town of historic interest, situated along a coastal route once contested by Greeks and Romans ( there is a wonderful open exhibition, with many pieces from archeological finds, in the town park ( off Tomis Strada ) ...along with information of the Greek fortress that once guarded the port). The historic town square is an airy spot to enjoy the sea-breeze and enjoy al-fresco dining outside any of the many quality brasseries and bars.
The Art Museum offers work by Romanian artists ( impressionist and modern style) in a lovely building. Entry just 15 RON

Boring city compared to 10 years ago.
Boring city compared to 10 years ago. Clubs have disappeared, Taxi`s still trying to cheat you. Mamaia in regress. Water quality on the beaches still dodgy.Food, prices and service questionable. Cafe Do Brazil, Playa Modern and area around the old town(Tomis Sud) the only exceptions. Left the city for Varna, Bulgaria and never regretted the move

Constanţa has an interesting old town which is not over-touristy (like Braşov) and not too overpriced. There are interesting buildings and good places to eat. We particularly liked On Plonge near the marina: good, reasonably-priced food in a very pleasant setting. The town has good, frequent, fast public buses and regular buses south along the coast and elsewhere from near the train station. Travel to and from Bucharest by train is quick, comfortable, and not expensive.

The hotel has a very good position, near the beach and close to the old center of Constanta. The rooms are small, very clean, and equipped with a refrigerator and AC. The price of the rooms differs depending on their position (sea view, side/partial sea view, street view - i.e. parking), but only standard rooms (no view) appear on Booking, i.e. without sea view. The bar and restaurant offer delicious products, the staff is very kind. The breakfast is rich. The parking lot is small, but you can park on the nearby streets.
This is a stunning little hotel right in the centre of Constanta. My room was large with a balcony out onto the street. It's busy during the day but quiet at night (though I was there in the off season). The room has a kettle and espresso machine. Everything was absolutely spotless. The staff sent me instructions for how to check in myself. Everything was very clear and easy and they were very responsive over whatsapp. I really wished I could stay longer.
What a great surprise on entering the building. Beautifully decorated room. Whoever decorated this whole building has great ideas and great taste. Everything is new. Perfect location in the centre of the old town but also very quiet. The roof terrace is very cool. Definitely the best accomodation we have had in Romania and we will stay here again next time we are in Constanta.
Beautiful apartment, very well equipped, clean, very kind personnel.
We had a great family stay with everything that we needed. Beach Reyna is at 10 min walk or 10 min drive to Mamaia beaches
Eveything was perfect. The hosts went out of their way to ensure we had a great stay.
We are always opting for Maritimo Apart Hotel, every time we return to Constanța.
