This resort is often chosen for the beginning or end of Seychelles trips – mainly due to its perfect location just a short distance from the airport. For this purpose, the hotel is ideally situated.
The facilities and rooms are modern, stylish, and very well maintained – you can clearly see the high standards of the property. The rooms are spacious, tastefully decorated, and offer a luxurious atmosphere.
Naturalis - Oceanview Residences is a recently renovated guest house in Mahe, where guests can make the most of its pool with a view and garden.

The whole environment is really beautiful! A very well maintained lush, tropical garden.
From the terrace of our little house we could even see the sea.
Despite the fact, that Naturalis lies elevated / uphill - the access road is very good! Easy and quick access! No matter if you are coming from / going to the airport or town ... or visit the island!
The pool is also wonderful!
And last bau not least - Roland is really a great host!!! We very much enjoyed the chats with him! Hope to see/visit him one day again! Thank you VERY much!!!

Staying Villa Kayola was magical. If you’re looking to experience the real local life in Seychelles, this place is an absolute gem. The garden is simply breathtaking, lush, vibrant, and lovingly cared for, with all kinds of tropical fruits. It felt like living in a dream.
What truly made our stay unforgettable were the hosts. They are some of the kindest, most thoughtful people we’ve ever met. From the warm welcome to the little surprises they left for us throughout the stay, everything was done with genuine care and attention to detail. You can feel how much heart they put into creating this space. Our room was spotless, beautifully arranged, peaceful and already dreaming of our return.

A car is mandatory if you want to visit and see the beaches or other POI`s.
But the roads are narrow and you drive on the left, so you have to be careful.
The buses have a schedule, but they don't necessarily follow it, and you don`t want to wait for it on the side of the road, in the heat.
If you're the all-inclusive type who stays in one place from start to finish, then forget about the car.

Mahé – A True Paradise
Mahé – A True Paradise
Mahé captured our hearts from the very first moment.
The island is a beautiful blend of lush green mountains, stunning beaches with crystal-clear waters, and a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere. We loved exploring its charming beaches like Anse Royale and Takamaka, snorkeling in warm waters, and discovering hidden local spots.
Every corner felt like a postcard — vibrant, peaceful, and full of natural beauty. Mahé offered the perfect balance between adventure and pure relaxation, and made our honeymoon truly unforgettable.
We can't wait to come back one day!

We loved the warm, friendly Seychellois welcome on arrival.
We loved the warm, friendly Seychellois welcome on arrival. The island is absolutely stunning, from the wild jungle and huge granite mountains to the pristine beaches and indescribably blue sea. The driving is crazy - the roads are not straight with lots of steep curves and bends, so drive carefully if you hire a car to explore the island, which is highly recommended. There are lots of hidden gems - we ate at Maria's Rock which was a fabulous experience, and we highly recommend eating at the Boat House on Beau Vallon beach and the Green House in Au Cap. Buy freshly caught fish from the fish sellers on the side of the road and cook your own - it is cheap and delicious. Food in general, whether you are eating out or buying from one of the local corner grocery stores, is very pricey, so beware! Visit the Botanical Gardens and grab a delicious pastry and ice cream from the Polish owned bakery just across the road and down from the Botanical Gardens entrance. Definitely visit the Mission Ruins in Venn's Town in the Morne Seychellois National Park, the views are breathtaking. Also visit the beach at Anse Soleil for the best sunsets.

I really enjoyed Praslin - I had stayed 6 days in Praslin and 5 in Mahe. If I ever come back (i would love too) i would stay only one day in Mahe and the rest in Praslin. I brought my own coffee, the supermarkers are available but tehy had only nescafe, the available products are imported and expensive compare to Europe(butter, bear, bread and so one). It worth renting a car right from teh boat - if you are nor tired (They drive on the left side !!). Taxi is extremelly expensive and not available - for teh New Year we call two number , did not get any answer so we went using the renting car). You need a car and in my opion public transportation is not a solution.
You can pay with car almost everywhere except for taxi (I used Revolut) so you do not need a lot of cash in rupees. Some restaurant they charge you also for service on the bill 5% or 10%.

We hired cars for our holiday group and went shopping, sight seeing of Victoria city and the whole Mahe island and out evenings to restaurants and entertainment. We also did the glass bottom boat full day trip and were pleasantly surprised on this trip to meet his Excellency the State President and First Lady of Seychelles also spending relaxing time at the Beach House on one of the islands, where this lovely couple so graciously addressed the visitors to the island and so kindly gave our group from South Africa audience and a photo shoot opportunity that was the highlight of our visit to Seychelles.

The accomodation was simply amazing with perfect location (best beaches like Anse Royale, Takamaka rum destillery or shops and food trucks). You feel there complete privacy, almost like the whole jungle is just for you. The owners were amazing as well, telling us about Seychelles, giving us tips what to do, really exceptional service. I never give 10/10 because you “never know” if this is the best, but I am sure of it here. If we ever come back, we are surely staying here!
We had a very nice stay at Dave's appartment ! The location close to the airport is ideal for the last night in Seychelles.
There is a lot of space with 2 bathrooms, 1 in the bedroom on the first floor.
The terrace has a nice view on the airport tracks. Dave is very kind and helpful. If we would travel again to Seychelles, we would spend more nights at Dave's appartment. We recommend !
Dear Beryl,
you created a wonderful place here on Mahe. We felt nearly at home in your nice house and we enjoyed it very much to stay in your beautiful garden. Your are the nicest and helpfully person, I ever met on our journies. Thank you for all.
When I will remember our holidays on Seychelles, I will always think of you!!!!💕Hope, one day, we will meet again!!!
Julienne and her whole family are amazing hosts and carrying people with big hearts! We felt like home in their little tropical sanctuary. And they helped us out during our little misery. Would rate 11/10 if possible.
If we ever have the pleasure to visit seychelles again we will come by for sure!
We stayed for 1 night before early flight from Seychelles. 10 min drive to the airport. Host was nice and recommended taxi for a good price. Apartment is very big with a private backyard, big, fully equipped kitchen
