There really is little of interest in Karon Beach .
There really is little of interest in Karon Beach . It is full of eastern europeans and the beach is filthy. The shopping is of low quality with no real interest regarding Thai handicrafts etc. Its all massage parlours and cheap reataurants all selling the same menu items. I wont return . Beach was great, good for families. lots of sunbeds and umbrellas - 100 baht for the day. Toilets were in an appalling condition. Lovely restaurant close to the beach - KIRI restaurant, good value. Breakfast was excellent, with plenty to choose from and lots of fresh fruit, salads, fresh omelette etc. Swimming pool was great. Staff were lovely and really helpful. It was easy to get to Karon beach across the road and our boys loved the waves there. There's also a promenade that you can use for runs/walks. It was also easy to get to Kata/Karon for restaurants, shops and it's on the main bus route to Phuket Old town etc. We would stay here again.Guest review byDavidNew Zealand
