Location just off the I90 was great, with Cracker Barrel and Denny's next door, made for easy stop off with kids. Rooms comfortable.

    There were some really good food choices in the area and...

    There were some really good food choices in the area and there is a nearby outlook with a view of Albany in the distance. Couple that with it being close to where I was working, it ended up being a great choice. As soon as the remodel is complete on the first floor and all of the amenities are available, this will be a great first choice.

    Everything was great.

    Everything was great. We wanted to order in pizza and front desk was very helpful with that. The place reccomended was awesome. Goombas and they delivered to our door. Food was fantastic. The same girl at front desk next day again very smiley and helpful, just so pleasant. We have stayed places where that is not the case.

    I travel to Albany at least twice a month - finding a clean /comfortable/affordable hotel in this area has been a struggle- some hotels in the Albany area are absolute trash- a lot of them are dumpy & have not been updated in years -are filthy & have the nerve to be expensive- I was very impressed w The Fairfield Inn - the price was great- it was very clean & updated -staff was kind-I will definitely stay here again

    The breakfast was one of the best I have seen at a hotel anywhere. The pool was small but met the need. Enjoyed it and the quality of furnishings and staff while I was at the hotel. Waalking behind the hotel was also interesting. Lots of birds.

    The front desk clerk was friendly, gave a brief of the amenities, dining and snacks. The hotel was spotlessly clean and smelled wonderful. Our room was perfect. The quiet location and trees outside our window made for a nice, quiet stay
