Property is uniquely designed around gardens and trees. Beautiful but also difficult to upkeep. Loved floors in room. Wooden tiles rather than carpets. So much easier to keep clean.

I did not like anything about this facility. Both me and my family were disappointed and disgusted with it.
The website showed a beautiful and well maintained hotel but when we arrived we saw a run down, drug infested, un-clean and horrible facility.
I did not stay at this hotel and I would not recommend it to anyone.
I cannot believe the "MISTAKE IN BOOKING" that I made. NEVER AGAIN!!

Rockport is a place I went as a child to visit my grandparents. I come back every summer. A few things have changed, but it’s a nice getaway for a few days. Love the restaurants Bakery Cafe, Charlotte Plumber, Our Family Kitchen to name a few. I also visit Castaway Thrift store. I spend quality time at Rockport Beach. Reading, relaxing, listening to the waves, and soaking in the sun.

We really enjoyed our visit in Rockport. The town is clean.
The people at the visitors center are friendly and helpful, as well as all the people we encountered with.
There are a few Museums, nice Restaurants and you can take walks at the beach and around the harbor.

It’s a Sleepy little town with one main street to navigate.
It’s a Sleepy little town with one main street to navigate. Couldn’t find any place for breakfast, unless you’re looking for Mexican food. If you want to fish, a lot of people just park their cars on the side of the road and you see them standing on the banks with a fishing pole in hand. We went for fresh seafood, shrimp, and oysters. Flower shrimp is a good source as well as Albys for oysters. All on the main drag. Aka 35.

The city of Rockport Is a clean & from what I encountered a friendly place. There was one person & I'm not even sure if he was from the area since I was leaving the State Park, however dears run freely through there therefore you have to drive cautiously going & coming out & this person didn't like the fact that I was driving slow & yes I stop to take pics as they were crossing. He laid down on his horn. Not sure if he was trying to scare me or the dears off. Needless to say I got the pics & kept driving slow until I got to the main road. While you're there do not skip Goose Island State Park. We didn't eat at any of the restaurants because we cooked while there.

Some fine places for seafood, one place with music.
Some fine places for seafood, one place with music. Three places for cigar smoking that I found, Lulu's, Moon Dog (only the deck exposed to the hot sun), Charlot Plummer's deck. Shopping is limited. One Mexican restuarant, Jalisco's was a giant disappointment with frozen hashbrown patties more expected at a fast food drive thru. Living in central Tx with great quality Mex food, Jalisco's was not good.

Always a great time in Rockport, sight-seeing and just enjoying the coastal areas. The Little Bay is beautiful sight, early morning and lit up at night. Rockport is always having some special event or fun festivals and several great places to eat. Our favorite place is the very casual/ (with inside and outdoor dining) Boiling Pot! Most everything you may need is available in Rockport, with a great selection of places including economy hotels and waterfront B&B's, good restaurants and fast food, HEB, Walgreens, and gasoline with average prices. Wouldn't change a thing!

Breakfast is always amazing, my children love the waffles. They have a wide selection of breakfast items to choose from.
My husband and I like to stay in hotels that doesn’t feel like being in a city. So these are nice because they have bbq pits, and outside tables to enjoy a quick lunch. They are pet friendly, and we love to bring our yorkies so this is important to us.
Great value hotel in a great location. Nice sized rooms. Nice pool. Shopping and restaurants close by within a few minutes' drive. Included breakfast options include proteins. Weekly and monthly rates available. Best value in town for a budget traveler and a good alternative to signing a lease on an apartment if you're staying for awhile.
The location was good for to the Whooping Crane birding activities that were in Lamar and Rockport. The bed was decent, but comfort would have been better if there were extra pillows in the room. We liked that the room had a safe in it.
Overall, this is a good hotel. I found a few hairs in the room, which is the main reason the score is not high.
The staff - some are charming and some are very unpleasant.
