We visited NYC to see a Broadway play that won 2 Tony Awards and other accolades. The play was excellent, but the theater Hayes Theater was horrible. I'm only 5'7 and my legs suffered for 3 hours! Monday to Saturday with an evening flight home was plenty of time for us to see everything we wanted to see in NYC. Pleasantly surprised at the friendliness of the people. I was expecting to be dodging characters asking for photos after reading other reviews but we only saw one group in Times Square just standing there. Every place that we visited was very organised. I expected to be standing in long queues for everything but this wasn’t the case. Loved NYC! We live in the Chicagoland area and wanted to visit NYC. It's been over 25 years since the last time traveled to NYC. Our time there was great. In a nutshell, NYC is big, bold, busy & beautiful. We all live in NY.
We all live in NY. Two of us were born in NYC and for one it was the first time staying in a hotel in Manhattan. Two from Brooklyn, one currently living in Westchester. We enjoyed meeting people from England staying at the hotel. We attended a show at Little Island and ate at Pier 57. Had breakfast around the corner from the hotel and hung out at Bryant Park.
