Needed a last minute place to stay in Boston and were pleasantly surprised by this place. Super convenient location, free parking, reasonable rates, and friendly staff. Our room was small but our bed was comfortable, shower hot with great water pressure. Downstairs there’s a lovely lounge area, well stocked kitchen, and even a little deck off the back where we drank our morning coffee. A hidden gem!

The location was great. easy to get downtown. The maintenance guy who helped us out was wonderful, he ended up getting a space heater for us and we had a better second night.

Brookline was so close to downtown Boston - just a short walk away. Exceptional dining places all around the area and grocery stores as well and easy access to Fenway Park to watch the baseball. Brilliant location right near the universities and a really good feel for the area. Friendly people everywhere and i felt really safe at all times. You can catch the train or the tram to Brookline or easy walking area too. Cafes and eating places galore all reasonably priced.

I came for medical treatment, and the facility was near Longwood, I could have walked to the hospital if I chose to, about .8 miles or 15 minutes. The building is older, unremodeled, but clean and charming. There are restaurants and shops nearby; eg Bar Cino is five minutes walk or less, and very good. I used uber but tram and subway stops are within about a block. I would have tried public transport but this was my first trip and I was uninitiated. This place represents a good value for basic accommodations, given the high cost and limited availability in the area, otherwise, and I understand they provide parking which would be important if I had driven as on street parking seems unavailable overnight.

If you are visiting a child at BU or visiting nearby colleges it’s perfect. Lots of places to see and things to do in a short distance. I like that the manager Ivette actively sought my feedback and asked what they could do better. Their new wing (where we stayed) has some glitches and she really wanted to know what could make our stay better for next time.

The outside and the lobby of the hotel is nice !
The outside and the lobby of the hotel is nice ! The staff was nice! I felt like my room #314 was mediocre.
Three huge stains on the carpet the moment you walked in. The bathroom was the worst part. The room was over looking the lobby with windows that didn't open at all. The shower was nice but could be fixed, toilet ran all night. Sink looked like it was going to detached if you breathed on it. Don't think the room was worth the price regardless of location.

Brookline is super cute.
Brookline is super cute. Lots of restaurants and parking are available. It's also very close to Boston, so that you can explore both areas. Brookline has a quaint, small-town feel that complements the city feel of Boston. Best of both worlds.
Nice retro hôtel, beautiful lobby and wood staircase, friendly staff and spacious, clean rooms. Beds are decent, tv is cable, a/c is efficient.
Free Parking is a huge benefit, proximity to public transportation, restaurants or grocery stores is convenient.
There is a shared kitchen next to the lobby but you would have to purchase your own coffee, etc.. (no coffee machine in room).
Quiet neighborhood and street.
Clean, well maintained, spacious and comfortable room. The Hotel adheres to COVID protocol.
The front desk staff were phenomenal. They gave me a complimentary late check out when I mentioned that I wouldn’t be able to check out by 11 AM as I had an interview that morning. I truly appreciate their gesture in accommodating my request. Thank you Team Hilton Garden Inn at Brookline!
Highly recommended! :)
The room was gorgeous and wayyyy bigger than I expected. I chose this hotel because it was cheap so, my exceptions were pretty low. Huge bay window and beautiful old world feel. Authentic vintage encyclopedia set on the bookshelf. What a appeared to be a vintage globe and a unique fire place(not for guest, obviously.)
Location was great - super close to the T. Right in Brookline Village, so plenty of restaurants and coffee shops. The apartment was very quiet, nicely decorated, big for its size, and indeed sunny (the view isnt great but having all those windows was really nice)!
The hotel is very close to the metro. There are a lot of markets and restaurants around. In general was very quite. The room was very clean and it seems that was renovated recently. It had also a microwave, fridge and coffee machine.
Excellent, central location. We were visiting friends in Brookline and were only a few blocks away. I didn't notice any coffee or breakfast options, so I can't comment as we were out the door early. Very quiet and comfy room.
The property is a lovely Victorian building. The decor in the hotel is charming and comfortable. There were amenities we did not use (i.e. kitchen), but we were happy to have them. The room was clean and comfortable.
I stayed at this location because I was looking for an experience that would be different from staying at a standard hotel. I liked the location. This room was exactly as advertised and what I was expecting.
NOTHING !! It was OLD DUSTY SMELLY DANGEROUS and av HAZZARD. THE FIRE ESCAPE WAS IN MY ROOM ON THE 4TH FLOOR. PLEASE NEVER STAY AT THIS HOTEL IT IS TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE EVEN IF IT WAS FREE!!
The entire building has recently been refurbished so everything is new. The room was clean and big. There was a wardrobe, kitchenette, tv, large bathroom.
