Gorgeous location, staff all very friendly. Would def come back and stay for more than one night. The breakfast was the best breakfast that we’ve had in a veryyyyy long time. The chef and the guy who serviced us this morning were absolutely brilliant, very knowledgeable we could have sat and spoke to him all day. Highly recommend.

It was a very spacious clean room with little luxury items like fantastic tray with lovely biscuits, good tea coffee and sugar. With a cafetiere which was a nice touch. Slow closing toilet nice shampoos ect. Outdoor space for sitting having your coffee or a drink from the bar if weather is good. Staff were wonderful especially Donna who couldn't be more helpful. The breakfast was superb eggs Benedict delicious. Can't fault the place.

The staff were amazing, particularly Octavian. We were on honeymoon and they went above and beyond to give us an enjoyable stay. The room was immaculate and the food was delicious. Couldn't fault it. Wish we lived closer to visit more often!

The food was wonderful and beautifully presented, we stayed on a room only basis so cannot comment on breakfast that is served at Goldsborough Hall next door a short walk through the garden. After dinner we walked through the woodland garden which is so pretty and full of flowering plants and a lovely way to round off our evening. There is a really nice outdoor seating area for warmer weather.

Breakfast was ok, personally I don't like buffet as food is never as hot as it should be. However if you ordered from the menu the food was good. The dinner we did have was good but there wasn't enough vegetarian choices so we ate out 5 times out of six.

Our dog Bailey enjoyed the enclosed garden. Rachael the host ensured a smooth check in. The welcome pack which included a pack of eggs was a lovely touch. Lovely walks around the area and a great pub (bluebell Inn) within walking distance across the fields along a bridle path. Would definitely return.
