The room had character and was comfortable. The staff were friendly and obliging. The breakfast was excellent but took a long time to arrive although the view from the restaurant was lovely.We found parking off site in the street quite easy and enjoyed the walk around the harbour despite the rubbish that was floating in the water.

I felt so welcomed by the friendly staff and locals. The daily breakfast was wonderful - lots of choices and cooked to perfection. My room was over the pub, but noise was never an issue. My room was comfortable and clean - great bed, spacious bathroom. Having dinner choices on site made planning very easy. The Sunday roast was great value for money and delicious! I was able to join in with the social activities in the bar easily, or have quiet time in my room - I loved having the choice. I will definitely return to Jake's!

We were on a walk from Penzance to Truro and The Top House Inn place was a delightful stay. It's beautifully decorated, neatly laid out and comfortable for 4 people. The staff were really helpful and we had a great stay. We cannot recommend it more highly.

It's a lovely Inn, the staff is welcoming and the common rooms are charming. A band was plying in the evening so we didn't need to go drive anywhere for a nice fun evening.
