Loved all the amenities that we don't have at home. I.E Bar, Hot Tub, Large Tvs, BBQ, Wii in the Bar. My stepdaughter especially loved that the fridge/freezer gave you ice and water! The location was fabulous for getting to places. Didn't really explore Melmerby much but it's a cute little village with enough there that you may need. The hot tub was by far the best feature and as a family we spent the evenings heating it up, ready to relax under the stars in it! We had treated ourselves to this break and had a really amazing time. The bar was reasonably priced and good as there isn't a local shop only the pub, fantastic idea to keep costs down if you want a few drinks in the evening. Parking was great right outside the property. Has all the facilities you'd need of you were staying there for the day or just the evenings like we did. Owners checked in on multiple times via message to make sure everything was ok which was appreciated. Hot Tub was ready to use on arrival and plenty of useful info in welcome pack/ideas of things to do round the area.

I did not use the spa. All other rooms are so fantastic, so tastefully decorated, cosy, welcoming, Views are stunning. The grounds are stunning.

We couldn’t recommend this accommodation more. Cleonie is a fantastic host, so helpful and friendly. The overall accommodation has everything you could want, including a decent size fridge, incredibly comfy bed, a little TV and WiFi as well as plenty of pots, plates etc to cook with. It is an amazing location, close to supermarkets and some of the most beautiful parts of the Lakes but is a real tranquil spot - enjoy the hot tub, once you get the hang of it (thanks to Cleonie for showing us to load it full of wood). The best part - the resident goats!!

Everything was excellent; the property was extremely clean and safe. The host welcomed us warmly and lives nearby, providing immediate and cooperative assistance if any issues arise.
