Nestled amongst the picture-perfect backdrop of Guadarrama Mountains, Segovia is an architectural and historical gem which blends several charming monuments and landmarks, with a mix of lively bars and restaurants. It is home to a remarkable UNESCO World Heritage Site old city, along with the ancient Acueducto de Segovia and Segovia City Walls.

An absolutely beautiful town. Lots of walking, lots to see and so many restaurants to choose from. Friendly staff everywhere. We only had a single day (next year we will plan a longer stay) so we did a lot of walking and spent time visiting the castle.

Segovia is one of Spain’s most beautiful cities.
Segovia is one of Spain’s most beautiful cities. The Alcazar and the Cathedral are stunning, but nothing compares to the first time you see the Roman aqueduct. The only complaint I have is that everything closes after 2 pm and as a tourist you are forced to return to your hotel or wonder around while the town looks like a ghost town. Perhaps they could keep some of the tourist attractions open, so tourists are able to do something while the locals take their siesta.

We stayed two nights, but could have spent at least another day, or two. Take the time to walk around the river path down around the front of the Alcazar for views up, and when you get to the old bridge walk up and over the road and up the stairs to the lookout. Amazing photos. Climb the Cathedral bell tower for magnificent views of the city.

The stunning Roman Aqueduct, fairy-tale Alcázar, and Cathedral were stunning. Enjoy the traditional the signature dish of Segovia the Roast Suckling Pig (Cochinillo) which is so juicy and tender with crispy skin at one of the wonderful restaurants in old town. The royal mint and walks was a great bonus for our trip.

Nice city centre with cathedral, Alcazar, lot of churches and of course aqueduct.
Everything in a walk distance.
Lot of restaurants and bars.
Train station approx. 15 minutes by bus from a city centre - on time in the morning.
But of course there was a lot of tourists.
A beautiful modern apartment right in the Centre of the historic town . It was clean , warm, quiet and comfortable . The staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly , finding a restaurant for us to eat at when the one we booked was not open. The apartment provided a dogs bowl and blanket . The views from the apartment were out onto the historic street with a lovely church and those from the roof terrace exceptional . All in all a great place to stay during our travels through Spain.
We had such a wonderful stay at Finca Olivar de Castilla. We made a last minute booking and were very impressed to find such a spectacular home loaded with amenities. Javier was an incredibly gracious host who really went above and beyond to help us feel at home and provide all kinds of tips and suggestions for our trip, in and outside of Segovia. We are truly grateful to have met and stay at Javier's house. We hope to stay here again on our next visit to Spain. Thank you Javi!
The rooms were GORGEOUS! I felt like royalty with my room with its view of the plaza mayor! It was like being in a movie. You’d think with the proximity to the noise of restaurants and tourists it would be noisy, but the windows were soundproof! The breakfast was the best I’d had in Spain, and the staff were warm and cordial! This makes me want to return to Segovia again just to stay longer at this property!
The location was perfect, all staff were extremely polite, the room was very large with all the amenities. We had a beautiful view from our window and from the terrace on the 5th floor.
Breakfast was fantastic, with an excellent selection of hot and cold choices. When the hotel was quiet the hot breakfast was cooked to order which was a nice personal touch.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Real Segovia.
location, direct view of acueducto from room was great. AC worked well (not always case in Spain). location to historic sites was excellent. if you need Burger King or McDonalds fix, they are next door. bed was very nice. Staff was accommodating and very nice. we had to leave last morning prior to breakfast hours and they packed us two really nice “picnic” meals. Parking garage on site for guests only.
We arrived as a party of six motorcyclist's on six motorcycles. We parked outside the hotel, unloaded the bikes & rode the motorcycles to a secure garage. The staff couldn't have been more helpful. Our stay was for one night only.
The hotel is directly opposite the cities Cathedral. It's location was very impressive & surpassed our expectations.
Segovia is a very beautiful city.
I liked the quiet and peaceful location of the hotel, it was really restful. The breakfast was delicious and had so much kinds to eat. Fresh orange juice was great. Rooms were not big, but they were comfy and silent, that was all I needed. Outdoor parking is free, Segovia city center is at a walking distance. And it was a pleasure to stay in a historic old monastery.
Spacious room in a boutique hotel located inside a restored palace in Segovia. It is centrally located with the bus station and aqueduct about 5 minutes' walk and others sights, restaurants and cafes within 10 minutes' walk. The staff were welcoming and the breakfast was great. Would highly recommend.
Beautiful hotel in a fantastic location within walking distance of all the main sights of Segovia. Spacious and grand feel with all the original features and character of the convent maintained whilst being tastefully refurbished to a very high standard. A truly unique and special place to stay.
Location couldn't have been better. The Cathedral is minutes away, the aquaduct about ten minutes. The hotel is up to date, clean, quiet and excellent value. Book a room with a view! Segovia is well worth a visit, full of surprises and the temperature a pleasant 30-34C.
Room was spacious and very beautiful, breakfast was outstanding and the location was perfect to enjoy the sites. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful, ensuring we had directions to the on-site parking garage in advance of our drive to the property.
Best hotel we stayed at in all of Spain! Everything was over the top great, from the staff to the location! Couldn’t get a better location!!! The off season rate was a fabulous value! Just can’t say enough good things about this hotel!
This hostel is a great place to stay for a few nights in Segovia. Very low key, with very pleasant staff (Miguel is the best!). Clean, quite and comfortable. Down to earth, leaving a very small footprint. I will come back anytime!
The hotel was clean, the staff were very friendly and it is located right in the heart of Segovia. Valet parking was super convenient and I believe came out cheaper than the public parking down by the aqueduct.
one of the nicest places I’ve ever stayed at (value for money, charm, comfort, cleanliness).
most comfortable bed. single-most best night’s sleep in my 10 days in Spain. was like sleeping on a cloud. 🥰
Location excellent/could walk everywhere, room fantastic with a view of the Cathedral, comfortable bed and pillows. Nice size. Very clean. Hotel had an elegance to it.
