Did not care for breakfast as it was towards the end of morning and food was cold.

Well located in the Temple Bar area, but off the main roads so it was pretty quiet. Easy walking distance to lots of pubs and restaurants, and you can walk to the Guinness Storehouse in about 20 min if you want. Modern, well appointed room and a great shower with a rain-style head. Breakfast was very nice and reasonably priced (by hotel standards!)

We all loved breakfast and loved having a casual seating area in lobby to congregate, play cards and visit with each other since we were in 4 separate rooms. Employee Lucas was AMAZINGLY helpful.

Fire alarm went off twice at 5am, then had to listen to slamming doors for a hour afterwards with no apology in the morning on check out. It was a “false” alarm. Check in was all over the place the staff couldn’t keep up with customers coming in. Hotels in a great location, but a really tiny room for what you pay.

Location great--historical surroundings! A unique experience. Convenient to walk to restaurants, pubs, meeting places for local tours (especially on campus!). Well lit and felt generally safe even at night on campus. It was nice that there were guards late nite. Kitchen huge and rooms big--cool dorm layout. Shared kitchen had an electric kettle, decent sized, clean fridge, spacious. Clean!! Regularly cleaned. Bathroom good size.

Nice, spacious room and a good price by Dublin standards. Most importantly, after check out the staff were quick to call us up when we had left medication behind by mistake. Could have been a bad situation getting on the flight without it, and so appreciate that they held on to it for us and let us know quite promptly.

The Ashling Hotel is conveniently located near Heuston Station. It allows a person to travel by bus from the airport and simply walk a very short distance from Heuston to the hotel (about 200 yards.) The hotel itself is very near all of the Hop-on-Hop-off bus pickup and drop off points. The rooms are clean and comfortable and the breakfasts are exceptional. This was my second stay and I would return in a heart beat.

Staff was friendly, room was clean and spacious by European standards. Fantastic location. The gated, reserved car park out back was a bonus, though it is small so make sure to reserve a spot in advance if you need parking.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. It was refreshing to have staff available immediately on the phone with no answering filter. The Temple Bar location is very convenient to key sites, restaurants and pubs. Despite the lively location, the room was surprisingly quiet. The corner king room was spacious by city-center standards. The shower and water pressure was first rate. Room and rest of the hotel were very clean.
