So cool, short trip to the top but great ride, views out...
So cool, short trip to the top but great ride, views out over the cityscape to harbour are outsranding, cafe at top very popular and very busy, Cable Car Museum worth a look, also while you're up there, check out the Planetarium, not to be missed, and if you're into Gardens, take a stroll around the Botanical Gardens while you're there

A great tourist attraction for Wellington and fun for...
A great tourist attraction for Wellington and fun for children to go on. Take a ride from Lambton Quay and then walk back down through the Botanical Garden, stop at the Lady Norward Rose Garden and have a coffee at "Picnic" and the walk back to town through the old Bolton Street cemetry which graves of early settlers or wander through Thorndon.Margaret du BernNew Zealand - 10Scored 10

do not miss ! such a spectacular view over the city. Kids will also like it and the fare is reasonable for the pleasure you have. Try to make it one way (up !) and walk down to the city through the botanic garden, easy walk, easy to find. A good (and healthy) experience.
