Worth a visit though be warned it is huge and rather hectic, you may get market stall blindness! They sell clothing, bags, pashminas, all kind of gift items, you can even have a portrait done by several artists who you can see busy at work. Prices are good but you may need to check the quality. At the back of the market you will find the 'ladyboys show' which is well worth it! I literally loved the Saturday night market! Temples are amazing at night... beautiful atmosphere. If you have to pick between Saturday or Sunday ... pick Saturday. I did both and Saturday night market is more interesting for location (silver temple night lightening ) but mostly has an amazing food court you won’t find on Sunday.guiaSpain - 10Scored 10

Anything and everything to buy. Be sure you have 100 baht notes..locals can not always break a 1,000 baht note. Be sure to eat out at the Gulf restaurant...it is the best Mediterranean food. We have eaten all over the world and this place is the best!! Get the Humus and Baba ghanoush. Or just get the veggie platter! Finally a place where you can walk and have a close look at what is selled without 10 sellers ay your back pushing you to buy sometnig. Not too crowdy. I really enjoyed that place. You can also find nice food there

Got to try different types of food from green curry to pandan desserts. Food was kept clean and warm. Close proximity to many Night Markets (Daily Chiang Mai Night Bazaar, Sunday and Saturday night markets) We were able to book excursions such as Elephant Sanctuary and Tiger Kingdom to pick up from the hotel as it was one of the recognized ones. Great value!
