Do haggle !
Do haggle ! it is usually more expensive that the shops in the streets below. Please go to Havuzlu coffee shop / restaurant in the middle of the Grand Bazar for a great coffee / tea except to pay more but very good coffee!

The Grand Bazaar is mostly jewellers selling the same products. It's a shame as we were expecting a diversity of products. There's better shopping outside of the Grand Bazaar (and cheaper prices).

Its over rated and have got very expensive. it seems everyone at grand bazar, be it lamps, or souvenirs or even dry fruits, have jacked up the rates. its better to buy from other places like Istiklal street or lanes of Galata area.

Every thing is over priced and good luck if the sellers find out you are a tourist! Restaurants around the Bazaar are also mostly expensive and not a good value for money!
Good to visit but not to buy things from

Just a crazy place of shops - too big you will surely get loss.
The only thing that attracted me here is the Exchange. You can get better Exchange Rate in this place then that from Google on the same day.
On the day when i was exchanging, the Google rate was 1 Eur to 21.5
Here I got for 1 Eur to 22.2
But i found a better shop at 22.5
Just that i can't find that shop after some walking around.
So its easy to get loss here

too crowded, it is disappointing to see how many tourists are assaulting this place to bargain on fake items just for the sake of securing an improbable high fashion item. All the shops have the same stuff and ask for 3 times their real value only because of a fake brandname!

Beautiful small boutique hotel, located in a nice quiet neighborhood, only a short walk to Grand Bazaar, Hagia Sofia and other Old City sights. Newly renovated rooms, clean, modern and comfortable. Hadi was very welcoming and accommodating and provided a very nice breakfast in the morning. I couldn’t recommend this place, or Hadi’s great service, more highly!
New-ish hotel that is a walking distance from public transportation, especially the Havaist Airport Bus which arrives/departs from the Aksaray Metro Station. Also a walking distance to Suleymaniye Mosque, the spice bazaar, and grand bazaar. Lots of shopping options in the area, particularly clothes. The receptionist Farruqh was very helpful and informative.
Nice Boutique Hotel in the center of Sultanahmet. Presents a great overall value for a location that becomes walkable for the major sites of Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque, Topkapi Palace, Grand Bazaar, Spice Bazaar, Galata Bridge. Rooms are comfortable and functional and the breakfast included was very good. Staff was perfect - all helpful and very attentive and can assist with booking tours, cars, or anything you need during your stay.
Experience utmost cleanliness and modern amenities at Mula hotel, where their dedicated staff members provide professional and attentive service.
Situated conveniently close to iconic landmarks like the Blue Mosque, Grand Bazaar, and the beach, with easy access to shopping destinations and the vibrant Taksim Square.
A highly recommended destination for all travelers seeking comfort and convenience.
The hotel is close to the tram station Fındıkzadet which will take you to popular places like Sultanahmet, Grand Bazaar, Galatta Bridge, Taksim, etc. There is a nearby good breakfast Turkish restaurant, Simit Salonu. Carrefour Express is just 50 meters behind the hotel.
The staff were very friendly. They upgraded us to a nicer room. The hotel is a really, really good value for the price. Breakfast was delicious. The location is great. You can easily walk down the main street to the Grand Bazaar and further down to Sultanahmet for all the sights.
The hotel is very new, and location wise a bit off from the small roads of the old istanbul… however the facilities provided from welcome coffee at reception, room was very neat and clean. The manager was very helpful for my early check-in as the room was available… the location wise it’s around 5 min walk to Grand Bazaar and 15 min walk to Hagia Sofia area…. The front desk team are very helpful.
This hotel was allocated to us as part of the Turkish Airlines Istanbul Stopover free accommodation program, which is a great idea. We extended one more night at a very reasonable cost. Good location within a pleasant 5 - 10 mins walk of the Grand Bazaar, Sultanahmet and the Çemberlıtaş Tram stop that connects to Galata, Eminonu etc. Breakfast was good. The room was reasonably well renovated although the building seems on the aged side.
Excellent stay . Very comfortable family room provided with 2 connected rooms. Gorgeous view of blue mosque from the room😍 The location is central , in the heart of things and within walking distance from
Blue mosque , Topkapi palace and grand bazaar. Easy tram access to other places like Taksim square.
The free minibar was nice touch👍 the staff ever helpful and hospitable ! Will be booking this hotel again for sure if I visit Istanbul again!
This was my second stay with my family, at the Ramada Grand Bazaar and we all loved it! With the smooth check-in, friendly staff, efficient service, super comfortable rooms, lavish breakfast spread and central location...this lovely hotel is highly recommended. Will definitely keep coming back when in beautiful Istanbul.

What Guests Said About Grand Bazaar:
Grand Bazar is just for visiting not for shopping as costs are higher here
Grand Bazar is just for visiting not for shopping as costs are higher here. The funny thing is that everything is about negotiation in shops or on the streets. You will have a big surprise that the final price you are paying it is with 30% - 50% less. I.e. Turkish yoyo on the street is 5TL but if you offer 2.5 TL you're gone have it :) Good look.

It is an experience to spend time in Grand Bazaar even if you buy nothing
The atmosphere. You can find most of these things in other places but not in market places with such heady atmosphere as in Istanbul. It is an experience to spend time in Grand Bazaar even if you buy nothing. Shopping areas in India, my country, are equally interesting but they tend to be dirty and full of traps like potholes and overflowing drains. Istanbul has the atmosphere without these problems. The place we liked most was Arasta Bazaar near the Blue Mosque.
