Great breakfast and friendly, helpful staff. Spacious and clean rooms. We traveled with 2 kids (4 and 9 years old) and had no issues with anything. A well-kept pool with a spiraling slide will help you keep your kids busy on a rainy day.
The hotel is just under 30 minutes away from the Dinosaur Provincial Park or Lake Newell, where you can actually swim. We also visited the Alberta Birds of Prey Centre near Lethbridge, having decided that a 90-minute drive is better than staying there. That trip was a blast!

The pool and waterslide were the main attraction for the kids, but the 5 am breakfast was a game changer for traveling with a toddler. He’s an early riser and not being locked in our rooms early in the morning and able to get started on breakfast before the morning rush made a huge difference.
