Full of children and fun, this is the centre of Copenhagen and you should not miss it. They manage to keep the children happy with the rollercosters and the more mature with the gardens. They have managed to have a bit of everything for everyone. The Saturday night light show was ok, maybe not for me however the live concert and singing was fantastic and kept the crowd on their feet. There are a number of entrances to Tivoli so don't worry if...
There are a number of entrances to Tivoli so don't worry if 1 seems packed. We were there for Christmas and so the decorations were excellent. Sometimes it is difficult to get places to eat, so if you are looking to eat lunchtimes or evenings, it may be better to book. Biggest Tip, play Gallopen it is the best and great fun. If it is a public holiday reach the garden early to get early access to rides. Book lunch tables if you want to eat in one of the restaurants. It was also close to the Metro station, which enabled easy transportation from the airport. The front-desk staff were friendly and helpful. Although the guest rooms are small, we were able to spend time with our friends in public spaces--the lobby and the breakfast room. The breakfast buffet was nice, with a good variety of options. Great location too, the main train station and Tivoli Gardens are within walking distance. You can basically walk anywhere in the city center. Loads of really lovely touches - loads of family friendly games in room, super comfortable beds, ping pong room for kids to let off steam, delicious breakfast, really friendly and attentive staff - nothing was too much trouble.
