The location on the royal terrace was great, a reasonable walk to the train station, and super close to Calton hill and Arthur's Seat! I had a nice view out onto the Firth. Rooms are huge, and there is a continental a la carte breakfast included. You get a paper bag at your doorstep with your selected items when you wake up in the morning.

The hotel is very well located. It's just off Regents Road at Calton Hill and is very quiet, especially considering how central it is. Bedrooms are comfortable and the interior design is subtly 'Scottish' without being twee.

The Parliament House hotel was very cozy. The staff was wonderful and they bent over backwards to make our stay pleasant. The location is great-we could walk to everything we wanted to see. Calton Hill park is right by the hotel and is definitely worth a visit. The Royal Mile shopping area is very close. There are many restaurants within walking distance too. And it's close to the train station!

Modern hotel and the room was very nice, quiet and comfortable, but unusual with a long corridor, turning 90 degrees half way to reach the room with the bath a sink area and closet along the way where the corridor turned - not bad, just unusual. View looking out over the train station which is just across the street. We were able to walk to the Royal Mile and the Castle, Prince Street Gardens and Calton Hill and Holyrood from the hotel,
