Machu Picchu
A sprawling site high in the mountains, the citadel of Machu Picchu was hidden to the outside world until 1911. The most iconic of the Incan sites, visitors flock to see the impressive Temple of the Sun, Temple of Three Windows and a ritual time-telling stone called the Inti Watana. Surrounding structures have been extensively restored, so you can wander between the buildings just like the locals did all those centuries ago.

Don't miss the Opera in the 2000 year old Arena.
Don't miss the Opera in the 2000 year old Arena. A breathtaking bucket-list experience.
My number one tip if you are booking a seat on the stone steps is to choose one in a row at the front of the block of seats, so that you can stretch your legs out. Especially if you are tall.
The Opera is long (3-4 hours) and the rows of seats are close together plus it can be very hot at night in the Opera season.

some parts are ruins, the central ground arena is covered up for concerts seating etc so original not visible and not accesible anywhere so not as good an experience as one in Rome. if you been to Rome donot bother here in Verona

Visit the opera even if you are not a fan.
Visit the opera even if you are not a fan. The arena inside at night is magical as lit by candles and sit fir a relaxed night out with locals. Seats on the stones are good value. By day, get a guide to talk you round or you miss the details that make it special.

Well worth a visit - the actual Arena is very impressive with all the side passages and side rooms and the ruin of the original outside wall. Also, the information provided inside on the wall panels is MOST informative. I wasn’t fortunate enough to attend a concert in the Arena but was able to close my eyes and imagine how spectacular it would be!!

Allow yourself several days to explore this incredible city.
Allow yourself several days to explore this incredible city. It's one of the cleanest, friendliest cities with fabulous architecture. It also has buildings from the Romans. Set on a river surrounded by the hills, it's simply stunning!!
We went to a concert in the Arena and it was fabulous.

An amazing venue and well worth a visit to see an opera.
An amazing venue and well worth a visit to see an opera. The cheaper tickets available from the box office on the day are fine if you don't mind being seated high up. Purchasing a cushion for the stone seating is strongly recommended.

LOVED THE LOCATION! You are right on the main shopping street and 5 min walk from Pizza Erbe, the Verona Arena and Juliet's house. 20 mins walk to the train station. I also appreciated that the host helped us with luggage up the stairs, that would have been too hard for us. They were also on hand for any questions we had. There was a washer in the bathroom which really came in handy since we had been traveling for a month. Also close by was a grocery store.
A three star hotel, all new and all clean. Roomy room and good size bathroom. Beds are comfortable. Free bike available (good to get into Verona Arena and Piazzale Bra, instead of using city bus).
The apartment was really nice, clean and beds were comfortable and exceeded our expectation.
Good for family.

Highly recommended
The appartment was spacious, clean and well equipped and above all located perfectly for exploring the old town of Verona - just a short walk from the Verona Arena, yet in a quiet side street just outside the old town. Upon arrival, we got detailed instructions on how to collect the keys to the apartment. Overall, information provided from Case VR Holiday was excellent. I would recommend this apartment to anyone visiting the old town of Verona.
We had such lovely and memorable stay! The room was beautiful and very spacious. The buffet breakfast was superb. The staff were very helpful and assisted us in booking a babysitter at the last minute so we could attend the opera at Verona Arena (thank you so much!!!). The porter staff were also very kind and helpful, directing us from the hotel to the car park nearby (thank you Rana!). You couldn’t ask for a better location in Verona and we would return in a heartbeat. Highly recommend.
The location of this hotel is literally a stone's throw from the Verona arena, and within easy walking distance of everything you would want to see in this grand and impressive city. Breakfast is very good, with an extensive array of fresh items, served in a pleasant room by a very friendly staff. The roof terrace is a nice bonus.
The location was excellent and probably accounts for the higher price more than the room or services. Located right next to the Verona arena we couldn't have picked a better or more convenient spot for our stay. We had to make a last minute booking the day before arrival because reservations at another hotel in Verona were canceled so we were quite pleased that it came out this well. There was no breakfast but there was a convenient place to eat just around the corner at reasonable prices.
My last two nights in Italy were in Verona --- a perfect place to end my vacation. Dreaming Suite is in a perfect location. Imagine walking out the front door, turn to your right and have the Verona Arena right in front of you! The room itself was very comfortable and a great space to rest after a day of walking around beautiful Verona.
Very nice super clean, large apartment close to the Verona arena. Great communication with the hosts. The apartment had two large bedrooms, 2 baths, cozy sitting area with TV, convenient kitchen, and a washing machine. The apartment was perfect for traveling with family.
