Very good location for The Doge Palace and St. Mark’s Square. It was only one turn and a few hundred yards to walk. Our junior suite had plenty of room. We arranged with the hotel a private water taxi from and back to the Venice train. A hostess was with us from the train station to the hotel, and at the end from the hotel back to the train station. There of course is the added expense, but it completely removed having to navigate the canals and narrow streets of Venice while carrying luggage.

The room was really pretty and clean.. I really loved the aesthetic. And the staff are really sportful and kind. I missed my first booked day due to transportation issues and they let me stay another night in exchange.

Piazza San Marco
If you want to dig a little deeper into Agrigento’s impressive history, this is the place to come. The Regional Archaeological Museum is full of ancient artifacts from the area’s Hellenic past – each one supported by a fascinating back story. It’s the perfect complement to visiting the Valley of the Temples.

If you are sitting at Florian or other high end cafe sit under the awing to avoid aggressive seagulls from snatching your food off the table like a scene out of Hitchcock's The Birds.
Hordes of narcissists from every country in the world posing in the exact same way for their Instagram feeds cluttering the Piazza.

What a marvel...but...don't even think of eating/getting coffee here unless you understand: coffee is c. 10Euro...but walk thru, peak in the windows, stroll around listening to the music, feel the ambiance and then hit the narrow walkways for real food (read reviews...touristy places can have awful food...there are plenty of great restaurants if you search)

Go early in the morning, or in the evening, to avoid tourist overcrowding. Learn when the two high tides are. Book St. Mark's Basilica and Doge's Palace and tours for early admission, and do so well in advance of your trip.

Probably the most beautiful square in the world!
Probably the most beautiful square in the world! Very expensive to get coffee etc on the square itself be prepared to pay upward of 15 euro for a beverage and 25 euro for a cocktail in some cafes, but plenty of places cheaper nearby. I’d recommend going during carnival season as when everyone is wandering around in their costumes it’s like going back in time. The architecture is stunning. You can go inside the basilica and doges palace etc, admission fee approximately €15 per entry and the queues can be long so if it’s something you’re interested in perhaps pre book online to get a better deal and skip the line. The architecture is stunning with so many details everywhere you look but also the line of Murano glass chandeliers looks fab at night.

Visit in the evenings, after the cruise-boat tourists have departed and the pigeons have flown to roost, and see it as it truly is. Just because something is popular doesn't mean it should be avoided. Just don't go during the most crowded times, and see for yourself why it became popular in the first place

The location was lovely, within walking distance of 2 ferry stops and just a few steps from a whole range of restaurants to choose from. You can also walk to Piazza San Marco easily. Ionela, who handled our check-in, was lovely.
Location was great - 1 small street away from the main street with lots of shops and and a block away from Piazza San Marco. The apartment offered a much more comfortable space than a hotel room.
Very nice stay away from the hustle of Venice but a short 10 min walk to Piazza San Marco. The best part is the access by water either by Private Water Taxi or the Vaporetto if arriving via Train(Arsendale Stop). Great restaurants near by and the breakfast was great.
Very welcoming staff, very helpful with instructions on how to find the hotel and how to get there.
The hotel is located in a quiet neighborhood, it is a 10 minute walk to piazza san marco.
The room had everything we needed and included a dehumidifier which is a great relief from the high humidity. There is also a lovely courtyard-terrace where you can spend the evening
Great location and convenience -- 5 minutes from Piazza San Marco, a very short flat walk from the S. Maria del Giglio vaporetto stop. Very helpful staff -- arranged dinner for a group of 8 on short notice on a Saturday evening. Lovely common areas, outstanding breakfast included in our rate which was quite reasonable for Venice. Room was smallish but adequate and expected, and had everything we wanted.
We had a great stay at this charming B&B. The host was warm and welcoming, always ready to help with anything we needed. The location is perfect—tucked away in a quiet alley, yet just a short 15-minute stroll to Piazza San Marco, making it easy to explore the heart of Venice. Breakfast was delicious, though the portions weren’t overly large. Overall, a recommended place to stay.
The location is good, close to the train and bus stations. If you want to go to Piazza San Marco or Palazzo Doge, it's about a 30 minute walk, or you can take the water bus. The apartment is located on the top floor and you have to carry your luggage up there yourself.
The hotel was just magnificent, perfect location just near Piazza San Marco, clean room and big shower room, friendly staff and nice breakfast with eggs, mozarella, salami etc. There is a lift so no problem with luggage, which is not everywhere in Italian hotels. I would definitely come back to this hotel. The only thing is a bit unpleasant smell in the room but you get used to it ))
