Staff were exceptional. Excellent buffet breakfast with a large choice. Paint work and wall paper need attention in placed, typical of an aging hotel. A great stay in a world class locality.

Serene nature and surrounding, perfect for families and those who like to stroll in nature. Clean, neat, secluded. Perfect getaway from a big city.
One of the country’s largest national parks, the peaks of Seoraksan stretch for miles, scattered with mist. The valleys of Gayadong, Suryeomdong and Baekdamcheon meander past waterfalls, temples and the odd historic fort. Trails weave their pretty way through nature all year but autumn’s foliage and winter’s snowfall make the ideal photo backdrop.

I loved the breakfast especially the homemade jam. Great breakfast before a hike. Also the location was in a perfect place to get to the bus stop that leads to Seoraksan National Park and other areas in Sokcho.
The host speaks good English and is extremely friendly and helpful with suggestions for visiting Sokcho and Seoraksan National Park. The daily breakfast was good and well prepared. The property is close to a bus stop for easy access to town or the park.
Barely 10minute walk to the entrance of Seoraksan National Park. Staff were extremely friendly, kind, and helpful. If you’re going to stay to hike in the National Park, you can’t beat the distance from this hotel.
Room was updated and very clean and comfortable. A/C worked great (we were there in August and it was hot). Very close to Seoraksan national park; you can walk the 2 miles to the entrance if you don't care to wait for the bus. It's also easy to catch the bus as it picks up just a block or two away from the hotel. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful despite the language barrier.
Lovely characteristic guesthouse. Spacious rooms, a nice porch overlooking the river, and everything you need. The host/manager was super welcoming and helpful, giving us a ride to the park and the bus station!
The location is convenient for Seoraksan National Park and for Sokcho beaches. Frequent buses run to both. The village Seoraksan-Dong itself has a few convenience stores and simple traditional Korean restaurants, with good food. Mon-Thursday it's extremely quiet.
Great location to start hike Seoraksan national park, probably the closest to the trailhead. The hotel staff is knowledgeable with hike conditions and provided a good amount of information. The room is large and it has a bath tub which is rare in Korea. It will be great to soak in cold water to nurse the fatigued muscle after the hike. In other words, it will be a great option to stay after the hike too.
The no contact check in and out was super easy and efficient. The room was spacious and clean. The bed was comfy. Kitchen was fully equipped and bathroom was great. We stayed here as we wanted to visit Seoraksan National Park. The bus stop to the park was a 2 minute walk away and buses were very frequent so would definitely recommend this hotel if you’re going to the national park but want to stay somewhere that has a bit more to offer.
Room was modern and clean. Came with kitchenette and washing machine. Staff was courteous, helpful and speak English. 10 minute walk from Sokcho Express Bus Terminal and bus stop (Bus 7-1) to Seoraksan National Park.
Superb views from its balcony on 12th floor overlooking the bay and mountains. The apartment was new and well appointed. 200 metres to frequent Bus 7 to downtown and on to Seoraksan National Park entrance. Very close to multiple convenience stores and restaurants
