The 4-star Eurostars Porto Douro is located in the city of Porto facing the Douro River, just a 3-minute walk from the UNESCO World Heritage Ribeira and the D. Luís I Bridge.

I liked our room and view - both comfortable and lovely. Despite being on a major street the room was very quiet. Our room was spacious and comfortable. The rooftop patio was also very nice to be. The reception staff was just super lovely and helpful.

    River trip well worth doing.

River trip well worth doing. Walk over the bridge(pictured) almost rubbing shoulders with the passing trains for stunning views. Cable car amazing over the roof tops and down to the Port wine cellars. A tram service also takes you along the Douro to the sea.

Lots of ways to make the most of the river, cruises, ferry, walks, buses on the roads running parallel - and lots of places to simply stop and watch, whilst sipping a glass of something and eating a small plate of local cheeses.

A lovely river with very rich history, nice bridges, beautiful landscape between Oporto and Gaia. The Foz was just wonderful. I never saw such a beautiful river mouth before. It was so clean and serene unlike many others with tons of plastics and noises of modernity.

If booking a tour, I would recommend going for a smaller group tour as you get to visit some of the smaller vineyards with your money going to local businesses rather than large corporations. We were in a group of 8 and could also visit places not accessible in a larger coach

We went on a 7-day cruise of Douro River. It was incredibly relaxing watching the cascading terraces of grape and olive plantation along the way. It was a unique experience compared to the Danube and Rhine cruise. If you want quite relaxation, this is the place.

Location. Location. Location. Porto Tile house is a short walk from Ribeira and stop for the hop on hop off buses. I literally walked across the street to the Douro River. I wanted to be close but not in the middle of the tourist bustle. Lots of food and shops very close. Even though I didn’t use the kitchen features I appreciated the option to cook in my room.

Highly recommend! I loved this boutique hotel. It was so comfortable, was in a great location, & the staff were exceptionally friendly & helpful. It was an easy trip from the airport by metro to Trindade + a short walk downhill. Metro stop outside hotel was two stops to Jardim do Morro which was top level of bridge for a walk back. Nice walk to the Douro River.

Conveniently located on the shore of the Douro River, in walking distance from the Porto Cathedral. The room is big, very clean, with separate kitchen and with little luck you may even find free parking. Supermarket is also close, and if you like walking in 4km you can get to the beach. Owner is friendly and easy to reach if required.

Being along the Douro river next to the Dom Luis bridge with street performers and sea birds was great. The apartment was very liveable! Great to be able to do laundry.

It was an amazing location. It was quiet at night and lively during the day; right in the middle of everything. We even got. to shake hands with French President Macron who had lunch around the corner from this hotel, though you might not be as lucky. The room had a complete kitchen and was relatively spacious. There are many, many bars, restaurants and cafes very close by and it is near the Douro river.

Amazing location. Carved into the rock of the hills alongside the Douro River, this apartment offers a unique experience. Loved the windows in the front bedroom, the main beds were comfortable. Very responsive hosts with great recommendations for restaurants etc. close by. I had mistakenly thought our apartment had a terrace and it did not. But we likely would not have used it anyway as we spent all our time wandering and strolling beautiful Porto!

The Location was great - I was in the middle of all tourist attractions and shops, close to Douro river. The apartment was great and clean. The Property Owner left the complementary wine and cookies - was a nice touch. Made me feel welcome!
