You need film and/or extra memory cards. Plan a picnic or take a rest break. The restrooms close at 5:PM. The closest restroom would be in the coffee shop at the opposite end of the park from this fountain. If you enter at Bull Street and Park Avenue, the coffee house is across the street, but this fountain is on the opposite end. You may want to go before you head to it if it's after 5:PM.

The property was spacious and immaculate. Simply lovely! The location was excellent, being located between the River and Forsyth Park, and within easy walking distance of both. The property was in a very safe area and on a quiet side street. We were able to easily walk to restaurants (The Pink House was 1/2 mile away), to a Ghost Tour, and to a River Cruise. The side patio with outdoor seating was a bonus and appreciated as we re-grouped between afternoon activities and dinner.

We loved staying close to Forsyth Park and many local bars and restaurants. We were away from the hustle and bustle of the city market and river market area which we enjoyed. The history of the Eliza Thompson House is fascinating. Our bed was super comfortable too! Every evening we went to the "parlor" and spent time with other travelers - chatting and enjoying hors d'oeuvers and wine. It was such fun and we would stay here again!

We had breakfast on two mornings and both were excellent. The food, coffee and desserts were all better than expected. The location of the Azalea Inn could not have been betrer - one block from Forsyth Park and near all the major sites. The ambiance of the inn fit in perfectly with the charm of Savannah. The Savannah history murals painted on the dinning room walls of the Azalea Inn were unique, with fun details and consistent with what Savannah had to offer. We definitely plan to stay here again.
