Utility boxes with most utensils needed are available at reception and fresh food supplies can be ordered daily. Meals are available for a surcharge at a neighboring lodge, 5 km from Desert Quiver Camp. Very big, clean rooms. Rooms are at a good distance from each other which feels very private. We ordered the braai package (a lot of choice and you can choose what you want) and enjoyed making our own BBQ. Swimming pool is also really nice. Location is very close to the gate.

Located on the C19, We Kebi Safari Lodge offers accommodation 88 km west of Maltahohe in the Hardap Region. This property offers panoramic views of the surrounding landscape.

The renowned dunes of Sossusvlei and Sesriem Canyon are within a 1-hour drive of We Kebi Safari Lodge. Walvis Bay is 370 km from the property, while Windhoek is 343 km away. With two watering holes next to each other, it is actually mind blowing that there are so many animals so close by. Especially the 6 rhinos including 2 babies and the friendly zebra Nina. Great team, shout out to John, and although a bit far from Sossusvlei, well worth the drive as you can spend a lot of time by the pool or under the tree 'animal gazing'. Highly recommended.

Located on a desert reserve between Sesriem and Solitaire, Soft Adventure Camp offers chalet accommodation for nature enthusiasts, just 30 minutes drive away from Namib-Naukluft National Park.

The Camp's dining area is nicely located on a hill. Meals have to be booked at least 24 hours in advance. They will be served at either Namib Naukluft Lodge or Soft Adventure Camp. Comfortable rooms, excellent dinner. We arrived in very bad weather, for our comfort we were offered better accommodation for the same price.

Offering mountain views, Wolwedans Desert lodge in NamibRand offers accommodation, a garden, a restaurant and a bar. Free WiFi is featured throughout the property.

A continental breakfast is available at the lodge. This place is absolutely magical! A HUGE THANK YOU to Ronaldo who is an absolute superstar and you can tell has a true passion for what he does. From the moment he picked us up, he made sure we were well taken care of and had everything we needed. He thought about our itinerary of activities, our meals, accommodates changes in our schedule and even liaised with the kitchen on providing lunch bags for our journey back. Wolwedans and the NamibRand Nature Reserve in general is an experience of a lifetime. The nature, the values of Wolwedans to the food, the night sky, the knowledge of each staff member. We even received a sweet letter and sparkling wine as it was our honeymoon. This place is a 10/10

Situated on the banks of the Tsauchab River, Hoodia Desert Lodge offers accommodation close to the Sesriem Gate. The lodge offers an outdoor pool.

The air-conditioned luxury rooms at the lodge have twin beds, coffee-and-tea-making facilities, an open air shower and bath. Guests can enjoy views from their private deck. Our stay at Hoodia Lodge was nothing short of magical. From the moment we arrived, it felt like stepping into a special place — peaceful, breathtaking, and full of heart. The scenery was so beautiful that the sundowner almost brought me to tears; it was one of those rare moments that truly stays with you. The staff were exceptional — caring, attentive, and genuinely kind. You could feel that they truly wanted to make every moment perfect, and they did. Their warmth and thoughtfulness made us feel completely at home. The trip to the dunes was an absolute highlight. Our guide, Paolo, was incredibly knowledgeable and passionate, which made the experience even more meaningful. Everything about Hoodia Lodge felt deeply personal and special. It’s one of those rare places that touches your heart — a place I would return to in a heartbeat. It truly felt like home.

With Sesriem Canyon reachable in 46 km, Namib Outpost features accommodation, a restaurant, an outdoor swimming pool, a terrace and a bar. Both WiFi and private parking are accessible at the lodge free of charge. I don’t know where to start it was just amazing beeing welcomed to this place. Our room was beyond beautiful with an outdoor bed (they‘ll arrange sheets and everything if you tell the reception) a second terrace with sunloungers, outdoorshower and another balcony right in front of your bed. Interior is very spacious with gorgeous big windows, a big comfortable bed, lounge area with the most amazing view and a very big bathroom. Minibar and coffeestation are filled up so you can enjoy a drink right when you arrive. We had Zebras right in front of the lodge when we arrived. For sundowner you can choose to visit the upper deck (up a small hill), they‘ll arrange the drink you told them in advance and also very good tapas. Thanks a lot to Willie and the second waiter for arranging our drinks last minute and for racing up the hill with them and our tapas. :) After that head right to dinner, honestly the best dinner we had during our whole holiday. The steak was amazing, the starter and the amuse guele, the soup and the dessert. Lastly the whole staff really cares and seems to really enjoy beeing there and working together you can really feel the team spirit. Its about 40min drive to Sesriem Gate (they provide early breakfast with you want to leave before sunrise) for us that was totally fine. We arrived at the gate for sunrise and at Sossusvlei in time to walk up Big Daddy before the heat. Scenery and light is amazing at this time of the day. After running down the hill to Deadvlei we drove back to the Lodge to enjoy a beautiful afternoon and evening. Only downside that we just stayed 2 nights and couldn’t enjoy a whole day at the lodge. We‘ll come back, thanks again.
