The details make a huge difference: window seats in the room with views of the harbor, bathroom design where the shower is on one side of a wall so that water doesn't get all over the bathroom floor, enough hooks and hanging space for clothes and towels.

I think this is the best hotel in Akureyri, bar none. I extremely like the decoration inside.
