We stayed just one night as we were passing through Malaga. We asked for a second baby cot which was provided immediately. The staff were super friendly and polite. Family room was great size and easily for 2 adults and babies.

It was a very clean and modern hotel. Bed was comfortable and the staff were all very attentive! Parking was 12 euros a day but we were able to park on the street for free so that was a bonus!

The room was confortable with a good size. We had a few big luggages and we had plenty of Space. The hôtel is clean, clean, clean and the staff is amazing! We did arrive on a day with heavy heavy rain and windy and our car was not near the hôtel. Well, the man at the réception did help us get the luggages and carry them all at the hôtel while we moved our car. No need to say that he came back at the hôtel soaking wet from head to toe but smiling! What a great customer experience we had because of him! We do not have his name but hopefully he will recognise himself. We would like to sincerely thank him.

Location is premium. Right downtown Malaga. The hotel is very nice, clean and cozy. The double room was nice and spacious. The buffet breakfast is also very good with plenty of options. If you get there by taxi be aware that there are something like 6 or 7 Soho Boutique hotels in Malaga and two are in the same area of Equitativa so sometimes booking apps like Bolt or Uber gets confused: double check.

Staff were attentive, friendly and very helpful explained what the hotel had to offer and gave advice on what to visit in the old town and the location of key places. Unfortunately we don't speak spanish but all of the staff we spoke to at reception spoke english, which was helpful for us and which we apprciated. Hotel is in an ideal loaction for visiting most of the key sites in Malaga it is 5 min walk just south of the hotel to the old city. Lots of eating places within 5 mins each way of the hotel and there is a supermarket just up the road from the hotel. Really liked the decor and look of the hotel, felt like it was part of our natural world, The room was spacious and very well presented, good shower, the mattress was very comfortable for sleeping and the big bonus was that all of the drinks (good selection) in the mini bar were free. We have travelld a lot and never experienced this before, great when we returned from seeing the old city as it was a hot day and having a selection of cool drinks to choose from was really refreshing and appreciated. Also they have a coffee machine in the foyer, which is available to use free any time of the day or night. If I returned to Malaga I would definitely stay here again and I am going to suggest to others who may travel to Malaga to stay here. Thank you to the great staff for looking after us.

The Colourful Soul of the Costa del Sol

The birthplace of Picasso is as colourful as an artist’s palette, from the deep blue of the Mediterranean Sea to the golden sun, which gives 300 days of sunshine per year. When the sun sets, the vibrant nightlife awakens and you’ll find your place amongst the youthful square of the old centre, the trendy bars of La Malagueta or on one of the terraces of Pedregalejo.

There’'s also rich history underneath the sun and fun. Alcazaba is a Moorish castle from the 11th century and just next to it are the remnants of a Roman Theatre. The white stone tower of the Malaga Cathedral rises up in the heart of the city centre, and offers an interesting respite from sun bathing on the magnificent and popular beaches.

A more modern history can be appreciated by visiting the birthplace of Picasso and a museum full of exhibitions by Malaga’s most famous resident. A more relaxed Spanish city than Madrid and Barcelona, Malaga is still the gateway to the Costa del Sol and the busy Malaga Airport is only 10 km from the centre of town.

From budget hostels to 5-star luxury hotels, with Booking.com you’re sure to find the perfect accommodation for your sunny holiday.

Malaga is a wonderful area on the Costa del Sol.

Malaga is a wonderful area on the Costa del Sol. This is our 4th time in the area. We stayed in Fuengirola. Close to beautiful beaches, a wonderful boardwalk and fabulous restaurants. Our favorite restaurant was El Higueron. Food is fabuolous, staff is tremendous and the view overlooking Fuengirola is amazing. We stayed in Higueron West through a Airbnb. We rented a car and drove to many places, including Marbella. Highly recommend people to visit Malaga and the surrounding area.

We liked the size of the town for easy walking.

We liked the size of the town for easy walking. A longer stay might have allowed us to do more day trips, which seemed inviting and interesting. Our teens especially liked time at the beach and in the ocean. Overall, the entire town/area felt very safe and welcoming to outsiders.

Beautiful city with plenty of varied attractions and sights all within easy walking distance. My highlight was the Picasso museum and we also enjoyed leisurely walks soaking in the atmosphere of the many tapas bars.

Malaga is a fabulous city.

Malaga is a fabulous city. The plus points are - short flight time from the UK, the climate is generally lovely, loads of history and culture, good shopping, wonderful food market and food scene with great restaurants, lots of beaches where you can cool down with a swim or chill out away from the buzz of the city, a long promenade which is fab for cycling or walking along the coast. Really good transport links with local buses around the city and trains to other Spanish cities.

I liked the vibe, it is such an interesting place. I didn't like that it wasn't so easy to get around, a lot of walking, if you want a relaxed holiday I wouldn't choose here. That is what I wanted, and I came back with complete scatter brain
