The owners had recently bought the place and were in the process of upgrading it .it was still in 70s style.. They apologised for the state and went out of the way to make sure our stay was comfortable. It was ideally situated for visiting the town as it was less than 15 minutes away.

Cabin had everything you would need & was generous in terms of room to move, (basic but) functional kitchen & pre arrival communication with the hosts was excellent/better than average. Value for money was good & my first stay to compare to my usual (motel). Definitely a step up.

Dinner and breakfast were excellent. Helen, the manager, was very pleasant and only too happy to help. She is a very capable and reliable person and is a very good person to have in charge. My husband and I would certainly recommend the motel, and happily stay there again. I wish Helen good luck in any of her future endeavours. Sandra Trafford-Walker

We booked this motel whilst all others in the area were closed before 8pm. The check in was contactless which is simple and exactly what we wanted after having driven for 6 hours. The room was absolutely more than fine , wifi was well above average and heaps of parking for our trailer.

Location of the Motel was perfect to enjoy the Town centre. The onsite free parking was a bonus, together with the choice for continental breakfast. Friendly welcoming staff and the room was ready on arrival.
