Pleasant surprise-- sort of an oasis in the desert--I was surprised by the massive size of the resort compared to the rest of the sleepy little village. Not a blade of grass in the rest of the town and desert but beautiful manicured lawns at the resort. Multiple pools, coffee bar area, large air conditioned restaurant. Front desk staff were extremely helpful--all staff were very attentive.

It is relatively far from the center and difficult to find it, because a resort was bulilt between the camp and the road. That is why there are quiet and comfortable seating areas. The hosts are nice. The lake shore is beautiful, the cleanliness is like Egyptian. Beer available. Hooray.

We enjoyed our one night stay at Seti Lake Resort. We arrived early due to a change in flight schedule and were pleased to be able to check in right away and be upgraded to a suite from our double room. The suite was spacious with a view of Lake Nasser. The room and furnishings were a little old but well-kept and comfortable. The location is excellent, only a short walk into town or to the temples. The pool was cool and refreshing.

The Seti Abu Simbel Lake Resort is a really lovely place to stay. We recommend you to stay at least one night here, really relaxing. The rooms are super spaces, and the hotel complex is very lovely. They even plant their own vegetables and herbs for using in the restaurant. We really loved to hear that. The stuff is very friendly. Also, they helped us to organize the transport from and to Aswan, which was really well organized. To the Abu Simbel Temple you could walk within 20 minutes from the hotel.

After staying in a number of cheap guesthouses this felt like welcome luxury. The room smelled clean and the bed was so comfy! Lovely facilities and the main terrace was a really peaceful place to sit and have tea.

The host is superb! We had issue with our next stay and he helped out very efficiently with good price! He also recommended yummy local food. He is so helpful and kind you can ask him everything! The room wasn't luxury but clean and spacious, beds were big and comfortable. Also good location close to the temple. Highly recommend this place!
