    Reception staff were friendly and helpful. The bar was well-stocked with local produce (this is Burgundy country but they also stocked an excellent locally brewed beer). The room was comfortable and spotlessly clean. The free wifi worked. Breakfast was good. This is not a hotel with pretensions to luxury but a very good mid-market place for a stopover on a trip through France.

    Auxerre is an enjoyable little town, perfect to explore the Chablis vignards. This B&B is recommenable on all points, spacy room, good breakfast, luxury bathroom, and most of all the warm and serviceminded staff, mdmoiselle Bathilde in particular.
