One of the best accommodations we had the whole trip. We had a family room and everyone loved the space, the treats, the shower and the comfort of the bed. It felt like a night in a level of luxury that we were not experiencing else where at comparable prices. I half expected a tired or aging inn, but found a wonderfully relaxing and comfortable stay.

The location is quite good; the hotel is within walking distance to all the attractions. One can only enter into the building with their key; therefore, it feels safe to be in this hotel. Inside the rooms, the furnitures are a bit old; so, one should not expect to see luxury. Still, it is simplistic and clean. The staff is nice and friendly. Our room was facing the back side, which made it very comfortable to sleep at night as it was completely silent. The bed was very comfortable.

Our 4th time at No 38 and just as good as previous stays. Very clean and comfortable with a luxury feel. Comfy beds and plenty of hot water for a bath or rain shower with luxury toiletries. Beautiful lounge area for guests to use which is then also used for breakfast. Breakfast as always is exceptional, using local ingredients. Staff continue to be very efficient, friendly and courteous.

Dan was fantastically hospitable and flexible. Amazing value for money, and more perks than were suggested when I booked it. (Free toast, coffee etc to help yourself to.) Couldn't recommend staying here highly enough to anyone just needing a place to stay for a night or two. It's not luxury but very pleasant and it'd certainly be my first choice of places to stay in Bristol. Thanks Dan!

The public areas are very grand , the rooms were not so, good bathrooms, poor toiletries, good towels , but not the level of luxury I expected for the price I paid

Cosy and stylish rooms, lovely and quiet. Really nice for a bit of luxury on a couple's break. Every detail down to the bathroom products was superb and there was a great range of cooked breakfasts for vegetarians.

The accommodation felt like luxury upon arrival, the staff were very helpful, understanding, talkative and they were rather patient. The property was spotless, great value for money, everything was supplied and it's in an ideal location. I hope to stay again and a lot more. A+++

The location is great - very central and easy walking distance to shops & restaurants plus right by the stop for the Bristol Airport bus service. The staff are lovely - friendly, helpful and efficient. The rooms are super - comfortable and well-appointed. The hotel gives a luxury vibe for a very reasonable price…..we had a really good experience staying there and will definitely return.
